So, we got into it like a week ago. I saw you, the real use. Scared. You have run everyone in your life off, and now me. All you will have is your dog and your stuff. I told you that she was a bad idea, I told you it would not end well. And your hyper focus on something to fix has created non existent problems with us. I have not done anything other than try and get enough money to buy food.
You robbed me of any chance of making friends here, what with you calling them and telling them to tell me what to do. I can't trust anybody. The trap you laid for me to relapse.. That was devastating to realize, it wasn't just a mistake.

You want me out, but you are making it difficult to do. You self imposed dinners are more annoyances than help. You forced me to struggle, now watch me struggle. I will not take your hand outs to make yourself feel better.

That there is a person out there who considers you the perfect person in their eyes, it may be difficult to think that way but it's true, we all look for different things in a partner that make them perfect, good looking, funny, nerdy etc.
But if you think about it, while you may think you're not attractive, not smart, not funny etc, there's someone out there who does. In a world of what 9 Billion? There has to be someone out there for you. Though if you don't believe in soulmates or some sort of destiny then that's okay, I do which is why I wanted to provide my view in it.

So, hey, hello, bonjour (that's all the French I know apart from La Fentre, which is window?), I'm RangerMan612 and I am seeking my one, I've done a few posts kinda detailing who my perfect partner is to me but so far no luck (maybe I'm just that weird? Under the helmet though, I'm not Channing Tatum or Brad Pitt, I'm more, Bond, James Bond 😉 I kid, I'm not, I'm 6'0, have short brown hair, blue eyes, a dad bod (without the kid) and apparently a really good bum! (I saw you spit your drink out, weren't expecting that were you? 😂)

I don't care at this point if no one agrees with me but I hate Jen. I think she's selfish, quick to anger(How most of her problems begin by the way ) and ever noticed how from the very beginning up until this moment (Season 2 E 5) everything has been about her grief,her dead husband,finding who run over her husband, killing Judy's fiance Steve just because she couldn't accept some truth he said about her.Her anger and anxiety made Judy buried Steve in such a hurry she didn't even get to have a proper goodbye. When Judy sang a song for Steve my heart dropped. It was one of the toughest scene I've watched. It shows what an aweful friend Jen was. Everything is about her outbursts and what she feels is right for her, god I can't stand the way she yells and treats her children like they have no feelings. Haven't they lost enough? Ted was the only one who took care of them and taught them things. In a course of a day they've lost a father figure they probably won't have again in their life. Judy on the other hand kept giving and giving and giving without almost getting nothing in return. I did like how the series actually captured the nature of women friendship. The truth is one will always love and give more than the other, Equal tread is a rare find. In this case it's Judy. From the very beginning of the movie everything's been about helping Jen and giving up everything she can for Jen that she lose Steve in the process. Steve in my opinion has always been there for Judy,he took such good care of her and even made sure she doesn't get into trouble. But Judy somehow threw him under the bus for Jen. In the current episode, Jen telling Judy they've been spending alot of time together and it's feeling very codependent makes me want to throw dog poop at her. Maybe that's what she told Ted and it made him relay on Bambi for love and respect instead. Ted uffff that no use melon of a man. Stay at home husband? Really? Gross 🤢, cheated on Jen,made her feel worthless,stopped touching her, couldn't understand his worthlessness made it impossible for Jen to respect him as the man of the house, and yet here Jen is asking Judy to go kill herself in multiple occasions? Isn't she the one who hit Ted and drove him away from the house? Am I missing something here? Overall I love how realistically this whole thing is written. But I've been binging since yesterday midnight and I thought I would stop a second to vent here.(Is it bad for me to want Judy to end up with Ben and part ways with Jen? She deserve happiness and I don't think she'll ever achieve that with Jen) .

It's Sunday afternoon where I am, I took my dog for a run at the local off-leash park. Running into a woman I know out for a walk, we walked together for a bit, having chat while pup had explore.
About 40m away from us, another woman is walking her dog (there are lots of dogs- it's a popular place) and her dog drops a huge poo. She around starts walking towards us. 'God, here we go', mutters my companion. The woman approaches and asks could she please borrow a poo bag as she's come outout without any. 'Borrow!' exclaims my companion 'Pfft!'. Giving her the side eye, I say 'Certainly ' and hand one over. Woman is very appreciative, says thank you and we continue our walk.
Once we're out of earshot, my companion turns on me. 'What did you do that for? You should have made her go get one from the dispenser'. The local council provides free poo bags in big dispensers at all parks. The nearest one to where we were standing was about 200/300 metres away. Me: 'It was no problem giving her one of mine, I've got plenty '. Her: 'That's not the point. People need to learn to plan ahead. If you'd said no and made her walk to the ddispenser, she'd learned a lesson in responsible dog ownership. You're just enabling incompetence!' I thought I was just being kind.

I apologize cause this will be long. My bf and I live in an apartment with our shepherd mix, Kylo who is dog reactive. He has gotten a lot better, but there is one dog who lives on the same floor as us that always sets him off and that dog also doesn’t like Kylo. This dog also looks like a shepherd or malinois mix and has the same intense energy as my boy. We basically take our dog out opposite times from them so we can avoid him as much as possible.
Well tonight we were coming down the back alley towards our building when the dog and the guy came out of the garage. We saw them and we immediately turned to go towards the back door to get into our building since they had just come outside. Kylo did have a reaction but we were able to quickly move on and keep walking. Kylo kept looking back and I was thinking surely this man isn’t following us. Well he sure as shit was. In fact he had walked so fast to catch up to us that he was right behind us when we got to our building.
He said to my bf “right behind you bud” as we get to the ramp that leads to our back door. I was holding the dogs leash and said to him stop, that’s not a good idea. And he laughed. By this point I’m panicking. Kylo surprising kept his cool but I didn’t know wtf to do. So I opened the door that leads down to our parkade instead of the one that leads inside and stood in the doorway to.
This fucking guy stood outside the door and stared us down through the window for a solid 30 seconds saying “what’s up” before going inside. Like what the FUCK. I don’t know what his issue is. I immediately emailed our building manager when we got in because what fucking weird behaviour. I don’t know what to do. I’m scared to take the dog out by myself now in case I see this freak again.

We only make 2,000 a month and we can’t get dog food at the moment on our food stamp card. We recently signed up for a 1-time only dog food request thing for free and I requested anything bc we were desperate.
We have 2 big dogs and the brand food we got was Kibble N Bits. I heard it’s really bad for dogs but it’s better than nothing and we’re super greatful for the request form.
It’s a 50lb bag. We have an elderly Golden and a 1yo Great Dane. Will they be okay with this bag for the month? They won’t get sick or anything? Until we can get them a better bag from Costco or Target.

OK, I've lived here 8 years but my license from my old state, which are valid for 10, just expired.
I've heard they don't actually issue your license or ID at the MVD like literally everywhere else I've lived and they mail it instead.
Is that true, and if it is why is that?
It's nowhere near as secure, people break into mailboxes all the time, postal service is far from perfect and sometimes loses stuff, and really, it just sounds like an excuse to waste time and make work for a contractor that someone at MVD's mothesistecousin/dog owns.
Pardon me for sounding conspiratorial but that makes no sense any other way. If even a backward hellhole like Florida can and does issue your license in the office what's the reasoning to not do it here?

I am wondering if I could get some advice. My fiancés service dog is three years old. He did not come from a service dog breeder or institution who trains service dogs. Instead, he was self trained, after receiving a letter from physician then passed a professional training assessment from a credited trainer. I am from Canada, and have read provincial laws but they all seem to vary from province to province. So, really, I am just confused. Is my dog a “real” service dog if he did not come from a service breeder and training institution?
He is used for his mental health condition and interrupts specific behaviours. He usually provides relief for in-home incidents. My fiancé has anxiety, so oftentimes, brining his service dog out in the community ends up drawing more attention.
Long story short, I am travelling with my fiancé for two months to visit our family. I would like to bring the dog since he is necessary for my fiancé. I called the airline and all they wanted was an ID card and a training certificate which I have both. But, I am worried for some reason because the dog is not accredited from PADs, ADI or IGDF. When I expressed my concern to the trainer that while he can perform as task, I am worried in terms of the law he’s “fraudulent” and she kind of just laughed it off. So what should I do? How to I determine what is “real” or “credited” anymore?

I’m from California, but I cannot afford to live there. I love the beach, but I feel like I’m going to be priced out of those areas.
I currently live in Texas and HATE it. It’s too slow paced for me. I hate the weather, and I don’t fit in here. It’s dreadful, the ppl are too aggressive and it’s miserable (the heat).
Plus there’s a lot of racism here, which I’m not used to.
I would like suggestions. I have dogs, so I need somewhere I can afford to rent a house at.

I (M,20) am an owner of a family flat in London
Back in the summer of 2022, I discussed and came to an agreement with my former flatmate (we’ll call her C). The terms are £220 a week for 40 weeks starting on the 19th of September 2022, meaning the move out date would be the 26th of June 2023. We agreed with the payment schedule of paying rent every 4 weeks.
As I considered her to be a close friend, I decided that a lodger agreement will not be needed as I trusted her enough to pay on time and in full.
Over the time she stayed at the flat, she’s asked me if she could stay for another year. Which I reluctantly said yes to at the time but informed her that she should still look for alternative properties as I might change my mind or rent out the entire flat.
Her boyfriend secured an internship for the summer, so on the 4th of January 2023, C and I agreed to extend her stay at the flat to 52 weeks instead of 40 weeks via WhatsApp, meaning the move out date will be on the 18th of September 2023.
On the 19th of February 2023, C and her boyfriend bought a dog. Prior to buying the dog, she asked me if it was alright to have the dog at the flat. I agreed to it as long as C and her boyfriend treated the flat with respect and made sure the flat was kept in good condition.
Between the dog arriving at the flat and C and her boyfriend moving out, there has been multiple occasions where they would leave dog faeces on the balcony for hours. Sometimes, even on the indoor floor, they would leave the dog’s urine on it. They would often put dog products, dog bowls and even fur trimmings on the dining table and the table in front of the tv, which are often used for eating food.
I’ve voiced my concerns to them, asking them to clean the faeces and overall keep the place tidy and clean. They cleaned the flat a few times, then continued to leave urine on the indoor floor, leave fur and dog products on tables used to eat.
Over time, I got irritated by this. So I decided that letting C and her boyfriend stay for another year will not be an option. On the 30th of April 2023, I kindly informed them that I will not be renting to them next year and will be renting to my close friends instead. At first, they asked me when they should move out, I said the agreed move out date, which is the 18th of September 2023.
After a few days, C tells me she will no longer be extending the agreement from 40 weeks to 52 weeks. I accepted this as I understand why she does not want to extend. She also informed me that she is actively looking for a new flat and will move in as soon as her and her boyfriend have found a new flat. I told her I understand.
Fast forward to the 22nd of May, C and her boyfriend informed me they have found a new flat and will be moving to the new flat on the 26th of May, giving me 4 days notice.
On the 23rd of May, I texted C regarding the original 40 week agreement. I explained that even though she will be moving out early, the original agreement is still in place and that the final 4 weeks of rent is still due to be paid.
She avoided replying to my text for a whole day. It was only until I asked her boyfriend to read her messages, she replied saying that she does not want to pay the final 4 weeks of rent. She explained that because I broke the agreement of letting her and her boyfriend stay for another year (even though the price or move out date had not been agreed), it meant that it was only fair that the final 4 weeks won’t be paid. She said that she assumed she wasn’t going to have to pay for the time she wasn’t living here as a ‘gesture’ because I’m ‘kicking’ them out.
However, if we’re counting, she will breaking 2 agreements, firstly, the extension of 12 weeks from 40 to 52 weeks as well as the original 40 week agreement.
I have been nothing but kind and calm to them. I simply do not want to live with them for another year. I explained that one of the reasons I do not want to live with them is because of how they are treating the apartment. To which she responded with that I should’ve expected it as I agreed to them having the dog at the flat.
I told her that the most I can do is to knock down one week of rent (originally £880) as well as deducting £15 from the amount due as she purchased a separate fob to enter the building for her boyfriend. Coming to the total of £645 (£660 for 3 weeks of rent).
As we are all students, she explained that because she had to pay 6 months upfront with her new flat, she cannot afford to pay the rent she owes. She told me she will speak to her parents and get back to me around the 29th of May (the date the rent is due).
Obviously, I regret not making her sign a lodger agreement but if she doesn’t pay me, what are my options?

This happened a couple weeks ago, but I realized it still made me anxious/annoyed. I have a doggy door that my dogs have access to starting from about 8am to 11pm. Around 9:30pm one night, I noticed one of my dog's back, tail, and head was wet and thought it was suddenly raining, so my husband went to shut the back door only to find out there wasn't any rain.
We have quite a big backyard and have a camera set up that thankfully angled it enough where we can partially see the neighbor's side. The neighbor's house is at more of an uphill, so their pathway from the front to the back is where our fence connects and they can quite literally look fully into our yard.
When I scrolled through the footage, I saw my neighbor go outside to grab a towel that was out drying, go back inside, come out a few minutes later, and looked down at one of my dogs and quite obviously dumped it on him bc my dog was barking at him.
My husband went to confront the neighbor and we found out it was their extended family who lives in the back section of their house. The wife comes out and says it can't be them bc they ate dinner at 7pm and went back inside. Even when my husband showed her the video, she says she doesn't know where we got it or when that was and was ofc shut down since it's obviously their house and had a day/time stamp. THEN she blames us and says that he's scary and barks at them and would jump on the fence, which we did apologize for but made it clear that what was done was still not okay.
Just to be clear, he isn't constantly barking and lunging at the fence. I checked our cameras and it rarely happened.
I understand that it's frustrating on their end to have a dog bark at them, but I feel like that's something they could have came to talk to us about.
I'm not sure if he'll do anything again since they know we have cameras, but I'm worried it can lead to him trying with something worse than water.
Any advice on what I can add to or against the fence to block my dogs from seeing the neighbors? From the neighbor's pov, our fence's height stops at their waist level.

I work at a local coffee shop in downtown Calgary, CA. Downtown is the core spot for homeless people, some can be a little aggressive but most of them pay no mind to anyone. I frankly have no issues with them & we even have some regulars who usually buy a small coffee, use our washrooms, and head out. No problem. We even give them (if they are around) the rest of our baked goods at the end of the night so we don’t have to toss them. Win win for everyone.
However, there is a women who relentlessly harasses our customers on our outside patio (and if unsuccessful, will go inside as well). She uses this story of how she got beat up, someone stole her purse and her wallet, and she can no longer afford to live or eat. She will approach and sit with the customers, until someone gives in, and offers to buy her something.
When I first started there (Sept. 2022), she used to come in with a different story and managed to get people to buy her wine, or beer. But she was promptly banned from ordering any alcohol from our shop. (As she was getting other people to order for her, and getting too intoxicated) (Mentioning this as a reference for the history of the ongoing situation.)
Lately she has been coming in over four times a day, during different hours to do the same thing (and find different people). She manages to get multiple large meals that she asks our customers to pay for. Usually - I don’t see why not, it’s a kind gesture, and if the customer wasn’t being harassed by it and genuinely wanted to, absolutely.
Although, this woman is harassing & actively taking advantage of others kindness and the more she does it, the more I felt the urge to explain to those buying her the food what she’s doing. She also picks out large amounts of food that clearly make the customer hesitant to purchase. We are a slightly pricey coffee shop, and our sandwiches, salads, and soups are all upwards of 8-10$, and she usually gets a drink & a couple baked goods too (which we give for free at the end of the day anyways).
Part of me hopes it’s a lot because she’s sharing with others. Another part of me is upset with how she’s taking advantage of our customers with the same sob story. So today I finally just outright explained to the customer who was going to pay for her food, what she was doing. The customer looked a little confused and apologized, and I then refused to serve the women, and told her to come back in 10 minutes after we close for some baked goods. But she then started yelling and saying how we were treating her like a dog etc. The customer left and we had to coax the woman out and lock the door behind us. The customer seemed upset that I was trying to explain what this woman is doing. Without context it sounds like an asshole thing to do/say, and I question if it should bother me at all.

I want the kind of love where we are best friends and the first person to talk each other when something is wrong, the kind of relstionship where we even think of each other while having a good time apart, all the small acts of love during the day and so on.
We will have a big dog called muffin or cupcake, there is no debating in that, but i am open to more pets or even kids when we're ready to settle.
I can not move the next 4 years so it will either be a long distance relationship (where i would still love to see each other at least monthly, depending on the distance) or youre willing to move somewhere close to munich.

My house and my neighbors are very close. My bedroom backs against their patio (yeah it sucks design wise). Last year, they got a dog and left him out all night. He woke me up and kept me up for hours at night. We would go over but no one would be home. I left a note on their door once and my husband followed up with him in person the following day. He apologized, gave us his number and it didn’t happen again. Flash forward to now. They have a new dog and the same thing is happening. The issue is the new dog doesn’t bark continuously. Just sporadically. He is waking me enough it’s a problem. A few weeks ago he barked on and off every 15-20 min for a few min from 10-12 ish. 2 nights ago he woke me at 1030 and 1130 and tonight 1 am. I cannot fall asleep again when I’ve been woke up. I work and have an infant and my husband is in military. I texted him after the one a few weeks ago and he didn’t respond. This is what I want to send tomorrow. I do not want to go over in person. I don’t want this to escalate but I cannot function with 4 hours a night. We live in an HOA but I’m sure I’d need proof of the disruption and how do I record a dog barking for 30 seconds? I guess I’ll have to be quick. I hate this and I’m pretty sure they hate me.

Hey again. I just wanted to let you know the dog has been waking me a lot. Twice Friday night around 1030 and 1130 ish and then woke me tonight around 1. He also has started as early as 430/5. He just barks randomly and I have a horrible time falling back asleep. I’d really appreciate it if there’s any alternative to the back deck for him at night, which is right by our master.
