TO ALL STUDENTS: Avoid renting an apartment from TREMONT, THE BRYN, or THE POINTE in State College, or any property managed or owned by CARDINAL GROUP COMPANIES or GREYSTAR, or KEYSTONE PROPERTIES! These are predatory businesses, that target college students. Although GREYSTAR reflects a "warning" on their website to avoid any association with properties that prohibit potential Tenants from viewing their apartment before Leasing, that is exactly what GREYSTAR employees do! THE BRYN at 601 VAIRO BLVD is a "slum property", and so is THE POINTE at 501 S. VAIRO. They forbid potential Tenants from viewing apts before paying them multiple months of rent in advance, and signing a Lease. They only allow the view of a "Model", which is nothing like the actual apartments that look like "crack-houses". They scam people by making false representations about the true conditions of the apartments. Their Marketing Manager is WENDY DONOVAN. She lies to potential Tenants about everything. She has also stated that they will not, under any circumstance, allow potential renters to see their apartment before they actually take possession of it, even if the apt is vacant. I’m on book 2, considering stopping, and looking for input from people who have read the series.
SPOILERS BELOW.
I liked the first book, and liked Theo, but as the second book has gone further, it seemed more and more like the main love interest would be Evander. Eventually I got frustrated and looked it up, and yup, that seems to be the case. The series has great reviews, and seems to be well written, but I really don’t like the love interest. So, should I stop reading the series?
My thoughts on Evander: Everytime he’s in a scene I just get mad. And it’s not a “I love to hate this character!” Kind of thing, it’s “I feel like I’d enjoy this a lot more if this character was written out”. I can tell that I’m supposed to be sympathetic towards him in some ways—because he’s savvy about politics and managed to not kill or rape the MC and has a well defined chest. But none of the things that are supposed to be endearing me to him are. At the moment, he’s taking care of her after her being injured and I think the reaction the authors want is for me to say, “aw, this man has a harsh exterior but he’s really soft inside because he’s caring for her!” But instead I’m thinking, “ugh, why did it have to be him? She wouldn’t have been in this situation in the first place if he hadn’t taken her hostage”. Btw, there’s nothing wrong if you enjoyed his character, or this type of romance dynamic! I just can’t seem to get behind him at this point in the book, and was really rooting for the other guy.
To anyone who has read further: should I continue, or just admit that it’s probably not my thing and move on? Do other romances written by the same authors have the same romance dynamic, and should I avoid them given my reaction to this series?

His conversation with Nynaeve was such a great moment. It felt like her character reached her end point after this and her Aes Sedai raising to shawl. God I love her so much.
Egwene Man, how could one book make me love a character so much then the next book she becomes annoying? Egwene is just that. This book ruined a lot of her character. I said it in my previous review that she's becoming a bit like Elaida and it's clearly shown here. The power has corrupted her mind ngl.
I mean I could understand not allowing Rand to break the seals, he needed to give more explanation. But, tying Perrin up in the middle of a Saidar battle? Is she even human? What if Perrin didn't know how to control wolf dream? That part made me dislike her alot.
I love how Perrin just vanishes Balefire and Egwene is stunned. "It's just a weave" She finally uses this technique to get a forsaken in her defeat list.

I expected alot from this book because of things it implied. But, damn it felt like the biggest betrayal a wot book has given me. It's not the worst book by any means. It's just the book that dissapointed me the most, because I had huge expectations. I love many parts of it, but that ending I waited for 3 books was given way too abruptly. Also that boring start to the Perrin storyline was too annoying to sit through. I could forgive that structure because Sanderson was dividing 1 book to 3. But god damn, did it have to be that frustrating?7.5/10

Actually forget about any favourite moments I said before. The rhuidean moments never fail to leave my jaws hanging. God damn that was some heart wrenching scene. Showed how the Seanchan are the only compelling villains in the whole series.

Earlier this year, I opened https://www.reluminate.gg/ with a purpose of bringing positivity to the scene by providing a fun environment with free coaching for all skill levels and all roles by verified, master-challenger players. I'm a former Grandmaster support and this is my way of giving back to the community. I''d like to share this with summoner school and introduce some of the resources we offer.
Everyone has a different play style and way of learning, likewise each coach has their own style of teaching. From vod reviews to live game review, these are held in classroom like settings over discord where you can pop in and out, no formalities. Coaches put their sessions on a calendar a week in advance so you can easily find something that suites you. Often, we'll have lectures on specific topics such as rune optimization, itemization or specific lane match ups.
We hold drills, jungle clearing and bot lane 2v2 match ups are common. Here you'll get paired with an adc/sup of similar skill level and battle out until first blood then review those crucial first few minutes of the game.
On top of the free coaching we host custom in houses every Friday for both EU and NA. Sometimes they're 4fun others competitive. It's encouraged to ask advice during these games from higher elo players and get a chance to also work on team building.
We're still in the early stages of development and plan to roll out more fun league modes, ways to meet like minded people and duos, events, and tournaments in the future. I'm always open to suggestions. At the end of the day, the goal is to create something positive for the league community and light up the rift :)

Google is failing me. I'm trying to find a tent with both blackout material and separate rooms so my husband will agree to go camping with me and our 4 year old twins. They're used to sleeping in total darkness and if we don't have the blackout tent will be up and cranky as hell until late (as one Airbnb with an unfortunate skylight taught us).
Would also love that they could have their own room in the tent too so as not to disturb them when we come in.

Presenting to you all, the Astatine! submitted by UseApprehensive1102 to cuecardgameAvid [link] [comments] Energy: 9 Power: 85 Rarity: Legendary (Basic) Special Ability: Unstable Isotopes (When returned, if your deck has exactly 3 Excellent Isotopes, your non-Science cards, wherever they are, gain +20 Power this round.) As you can see, the Astatine is basically supposed to be a near-generalist support. It is supposed to buff out all cards not from the Science album for the entire round, provided you have 3 Excellent Elements cards. This is easy to do, and you can use cards like Plutonium for its generalist stats, Sulfur for the combo with Giant Tube Worms, or Tungsten for a good Power Ramp. The boost is enough to skyrocket its maximum hitting power to (9E/205P) if played on the first turn, even more if on Sudden Death. This translates to approximately 22.77 PPE, quite efficient for a card that costs this much, especially for a card that buffs almost anything except 1 album. You can furthermore improve on this hitting power by using The God Particle. Even though the aformentioned Mythic is a Science card, it can still help when playing this card. For a near-generalist card with 205 hitting power, is it OP? Well, the first drawback to using the card is cost-inefficiency. This card costs 9 Energy, putting you at risk of cards like King Midas and Sinterklaas. This is on top of its 85 power, which is less than enough for a stats-based heavy hitter alone. Second, this is a Return card, which means you cannot immediately throw out your best non-Science cards on the same turn. Instead, throw out your best Science cards before pressing the "Skip Turn" button and play this on the first turn of the round. This is also why it is painful to get this card locked by things like Loch Ness Monster and Eye Of The Storm. This card is essentially at the mercy of Lock debuffs. So, should you use this card? Well, even if it buffs 6 non-Science cards at best and cost a lot of Energy, you can still use this card for a powerful buff if you want to run something like a Charles Darwin/Carl Linnaeus deck. Overall, I give this difficult-to-use card a B in playability. |

The fact this even exists is complete bullshit. I received one recently accompanied by one star and it's 90% bullshit she made up despite the fact I reached out and explained the necessity. Support says there's nothing I can do about getting it removed. To top it off at the end she writes "As this task was for a Saturday morning I am left to assume Friday night activities took priority." Absolutely inappropriate. My hires in that category dropped 50% after this. That's my only negative review the rest are 5 stars, 172 of them. I want to confront her on this via text but I know Taskrabbit strictly forbids doing this and may terminate your account over it.

Many NBA refs, but especially Zach Zarba, twist the actual words of rulebook to get out whatever outcome he wishes out of the review/challenge. Sometimes he overturns the calls by calling it marginal, other times he keeps stopping the play, awards excessive FTs for even more marginal contacts. Sometimes he claims he cannot review something that wasn't called on the floor, other times he independently decides to review stuff that wasn't called.
Zarba is basically acting like a lawyer who can twist words to get whatever outcome he desires, which is why he has developed a reputation for his longass justifications. Every game he refs is a forever long shit show.
