So, I was watching a video on YouTube and then my phone rebooted. YouTube app and reddit were both uninstalled. Both of them patched with revanced. Before all this, I accidentally repatched YouTube app. Maybe that triggered the bug?

Hi everyone, There’s been an increase on posts that direct users to other sites (YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, etc. ) The reasons vary from content creators to people that want to share something they found elsewhere. In the beginning this wasn’t an issue, but lately it’s getting to a point where people just share the link with no context. Luckily the automod catches a lot of these, but there are some that manage to get through. We understand that content creators may want to share their videos in multiple sites and get more views, but this conflicts with the “No self promotion” rule. There have been attempts to circumvent this rule, like creating new accounts to share a given channel or content creator. In order to make things equal for everyone, we’re asking that if you want to share a video, upload it straight to Reddit, this is in an attempt to make sure videos are short and straight to the point, it also makes the admin workload easier as we don’t have to verify each link to confirm if you’re promoting content or if it’s a legit post.

Looking at the front page of this sub-reddit, sorting by hot/new, etc. about half of the front page is a continuous stream of self-promotional threads.
These threads pretty much always have no comments and are buried in a few days, replaced by new self-promo threads from new authors. The other half of the main page of this sub-reddit is usually discussion threads with a decent number of comments that are way more engaging and useful to people.
I have seen how this goes on other sub-reddits like YouTube, etc. If Substack continues to grow, this sub will quickly just become a dumping ground for people dropping their link. No one will read it because it will just be another one on the pile. And the sub-reddit will slowly be sucked of any oxygen for actual utility or discussion.
I propose a weekly (or monthly?) thread for people to provide a self-promotional link to their newsletter with a description of what they write about.
It is already getting a little annoying to navigate the main pages of this sub-reddit whilst sifting through all the empty self-promo threads.
I understand self-promo and generally think it is fine, but the sub-reddit is getting inundated with it, and it's still early yet.

Item	Description
Prusa MK1 3D printer	I built this when ~10 year ago but its basically an i3 prusa style printer from the original i3 model plans (shortly after mendel). Most of the fittings are 3d printed, it works but will need work and great for someone looking to get into the hobby and learn about the history of 3d printing and what we have now. There is an LCD screen with rotary encoder, running some old ass version of marlin, a hall effect sensor for the z stop. Happy to throw in some old spools of ABS that may or may not still be good to use.
Corsair K90 mechanical keyboard	I got this for free many years back so just passing it along. Cherry reds, wrist rest (rubber has degraded), i think one of the led's don't light up but otherwise perfectly functional.
Water cooling loop	I think its a swift tech rad + fans?, EK something CPU water block, D5 pump, a bitspower something res that has since split and primochill white tubing (i think) (also has extra)
Motorola Atrix dock	Got this for the raspberry pi stuff i was doing at the time, tried to resolder mico hdmi to full size hdmi but failed.
Monitor arm	I think its monoprice? comes with whatever screws and mounting options that I have in the bag (it should be everything)
Asus VN248H-P 1080p monitor	Tried giving this away last time but had too many people flake.
