I’m sure this has been asked before, but I was curious what with the well-established, current CC ecosystems we have today (Chase, Amex, Capital One): Aside from churning the sign up bonuses, for every day spending is it better to stick to just one eco system and try to earn the maximum rewards possible there and actually rake in points towards something feasible as opposed to spreading out across multiple eco-systems?
Many popular credit card reviewers on YouTube recommend cards to maximize the % or X points redemption. But, is the addition of an extra %/X or two really worth it in terms of everyday spend? For example, if I have a dual Capital One setup with the Venture X for 2x on everything and the SavorOne for 3x on dining, is this not a better way to accrue points then say to use the Amex Gold for 4x on dining or even the Citi custom cash for 5% CB?
Of course, this is aimed at those who want to maximize their earnings towards greater redemptions by accumulating points and using transfer points. I also will agree that certain cards like the Bilt have their own niche for mandatory payments like rent. 2023.03.31 08:28 NateKurt Is Gatewalkers Loot Lacking? Are Encounters too tough?
So I’m a first time GM and we are about halfway through the first book of the Gatewalkers adventure path. We’ve all played a lot of pathfinder before and I would say the party is pretty experienced.
The issue is the party (War priest Cleric, Thaumaturge, Psychic, investigator) could have pretty easily wiped if I didn’t super pull punches and it doesn’t seem like it’s possible for them to get enough gold to fully equip themselves. The cold iron weapon shop in seven arches that could have helped players a ton is basically just a tease since the book is so stingy with money and once they go into the thinlands portal they never go back to seven arches. And that Bolan encounter was crazy, a boss that could have wiped the party with their eyes closed and I really had to pull some punches. Then the bird guarding Kaneepo’s court was pretty tough with only two ranged fighters and not a great way to go get the bird down and the bird in the book mentioned it would stay up high and hidden after
After a couple sessions the party seems a bit tired of almost getting wiped. I’m not playing these creatures like they are tacticians either, just using normal abilities that they have.
Should I somehow increase loot they get so they have a fighting chance? Some of these first two dungeons I’ve seen are deadly. The players guide handout also made it seem like the encounters wouldn’t be too crazy either so characters didn’t build for full optimization(on a scale of 1-10 maybe like a 7 for optimized characters). I want my players to have a fun time, and I’m not sure how much the book expects me to dole out loot from other sources either. It just feels like there isn’t a great way to let them go into fights feeling super prepared and that can be a bummer.
Also Note: we’re playing with gradual ability boost variant rule, ancestral paragon and free archetype variant rules as well.

Does homes for houses mess this up? In minor titles for gold cloaks position it says “one of these must be true, has government military command” which is marked red/ no valid candidates. Then for the my council positions I am unable to appoint the commander of the city watch or lord commander of the kingsguard. I have the submit knights of the sword tower on and Barristan is the commander but he has no position on the council. Anyone have any clue as to why this would be?

He said so many nice things to me and showered me with compliments. He was treating me the way he would treat any other girl that he was attracted to and that made me feel so warm inside. It made me feel like the girl I’ve always wanted to be, not just a man in a dress.
Later we started talking about our pasts, he really opened up to me about his dark history and I thanked him for being vulnerable and trusting me. When it was time for me to talk about my past, I finally told him that I’m transgender. I was really worried because I didn’t know how he’d react, he’s from a pretty conservative country.
And my heart melted when he said “It makes no difference to me. I still think you’re beautiful.” I felt so validated and warm and fuzzy. I have a huge crush on him now and I can’t stop thinking about him. He makes me feel like a real girl worthy of affection and I’ve never felt this way before.

Hey y’all. There’s this children’s animation that I used to watch when I was a kid but I cannot for the life of me Remember what it was called. It was about a little boy who moved to a new house with his family near a beach, and he would go down the stairs to the beach to play with his kite. He had an older sister. And he lived in this house with his family. He struggled to read so all the words would fly into space when he would look at a book. I think (??) His grandma had passed away, but he could see her and she would tell him stories. One day a tree falls on the roof of their house and they were worried about how they were going to fix it until they found some money or gold inside the boys teddy bear.
