Mark here. Just a quick update. We've sent out the song and more detailed instructions to almost everyone! If you haven't received your email, here are a few things that might be going on.

1. Typos when you filled out the form. There were a lot of email addresses entered like "[email protected]" or "[email protected]". We fixed all the ones we could identify, but if you misspelled the part before the @ symbol, the email likely didn't get to you.
2. We actually had our email get a temporary block on outgoing emails because we sent over 1000 in a day, lol. We set up a second email address we will be working from called "[email protected]" until that cap is lifted. Once the contest is over that email address will be closed.

Thankfully its an easy fix! Just email us at either address and if you signed up in the timeframe, we'll send you the track and instructions manually. Nobody will get excluded because of typos or outgoing limitations on emails, don't worry!
Also, the guest judge panel has absolutely 0 involvement in the logistics of the project. They will be helping the judging process as they are able with tour schedules and studio time, but they are all very excited to hear the entries. That being said, please don't reach out to them with customer service type requests about the contest. Thats what Alex and I are here for!
Also, a reminder - a handful of our guest judges are active to various degrees in this subreddit. Please don't post any clips of your song here since we don't want any bias or favoritism involved in the contest.

Snakes escape; That’s a fact. They’re noodle shape makes even the smallest mistake seem huge by comparison.
A little while back I made the mistake of not putting the left side lid clamp back on her tank. Next morning I went to feed her and she’s still there. Her current enclosure is a 40 gallon breeder that I converted to a front open (she’s small enough for it).
That following afternoon I got off work and did my usual business. I cleaned everyone’s water dish and sprayed the moss or entire enclosures (frogs and the like)
Got to my pythons and while sunny was once more a big ol stupid noodle (got stuck in his humid hide because he uses his mid area to block the exit and had been there all day)
I went looking for Lucy after spraying her moss.

SHE’S FUCKING GONE!

PANIC!

I have other reptiles that can eat her or she can eat (lace monitor, Flanders and my baby bearded dragons in that order)
I start tearing my reptile room apart.
I’m searching in and around everything.
I open the closet and there’s Flanders just chillin.

HEART DROPS TO MY COLON

I’m thinking either he just ate her, or he’s once more waiting to digest that morning meal.
I start to continue my search for her elsewhere in the house.
Cupboards, closets, baskets, etc
I didn’t stop looking until 3am~
I’m devastated.
The Idea that Flanders ate her just doesn’t leave my head.
Next morning I’m double checking and triple checking. I go to work with less than 2 hours of sleep.
I get home and I pass the fuck out.
It’s like 5am when I awoken by the sound of banging on my door and screaming.

FIGHT OR FLIGHT IS ON

I’m in nothing but a Blanket that I swing on like a toga.
I swing open the door and it’s my neighbors kid and she’s pale (like she just say death himself) she’s telling me that her mom found a snake.
I race to their door (we’re in a duplex so it was more like I just side stepped, but I digress)
The daughters boyfriend is laughing, the Daughter is screaming, the mom is shaking and through all chaos— there she is.
She’s in their bathroom trash can with not a thought in her head.
I swiftly apologize and take her home.
She’s returned to her enclosure and I’m just sitting there confused on how she got next door like that.
The amount of chaos was maximum but through it all she was just chill (like her sole purpose in life is chaos).
I don’t even know the words to explain the rollercoster of emotions that was happening in that moment, but what I can tell you is that I’m going to be more vigilant about her enclosure going forward.

Hello everyone, first-timer here, im in grade 12 looking for a laptop/ 2-in-1 for university with good performance for games, the reason i was looking at the z13 specifically is because i also intend to use a stylus for hand written notes and i am a fan of the surface pro series but also want to be able to game on the go while in between classes or out and about as well as use it for various applications like coding, some creative cloud stuff amongst others and the surface pro does not quite meet my standards, i've also taken a look at the x16 but i prefer this more because it allows me to write in tablet mode completely flat because the x16 has the keyboard go to the bottom in tablet mode and i personally think that is a bit annoying whereas i can take the keyboard off on the z13, allowing for zero interference, has anyone done this yet? how has it been so far for university studies? I'm going into Global Business and digital arts which is a combination of various different topics like coding, business, digital media, production, etc.

I've been recently approached to start teaching again and with COVID and everything it's been more than a while. The studio has not proposed a rate yet, so I figure it's best to come prepared. Hello! I work part-time in retail and I am a full-time university student.
My salary is pretty poor and the store I work in is understaffed, so last year, when we had a change in management with a new store owner, my new boss asked me if I wanted to work more hours under a „student contract“ (it’s a very common thing where I am from: basically means I get to work up to 20 hours and keep my student status, which means I pay less taxes than the average part-timer. It’s beneficial for employer and employee).
At first, I refused, due to a large amount of university work and also because I quit my previous job to have more flexibility, but then my schedule started to clear up and at the start of February I said that I would give it a try.
The weeks went by and… nothing. No contract, no nothing. So I started asking my manger and my coworkers if they had seen my boss, who’s rarely around. My manager assured me that the new contract would be finished by March.
March rolled around and still nothing. I was getting pretty frustrated, and started looking into new jobs (without applying to any). I started pestering management a little and my boss finally gave me a contract, two weeks before April and also without the right legal phrases to make this a „student contract“. So I tried to contact my boss again and offered some written phrases that need to be in the contract.
He assured me that the contract would be done by April, but I already lost hope and now actively started to apply for other jobs. Less than one week before April he gave me a new contract which I read and agreed to and signed.
Today is the last day of March and I asked my manager if the contract had gone through and if everything was settled, to which she just shrugged. I am at my limit. I feel so frustrated and betrayed and angry. Unfortunately I do not have any luck in finding a new position at this time with Easter just around the corner, so I can’t quit just yet.
I feel so unsure. We both signed the contract, so it should be binding by April 1st, right?
My boss also scheduled me for too many hours which I was not paid for, so I basically did 14 hours of unpaid overtime for them.
I don’t know what to do. University is expensive and so is rent and food, so I can’t just quit. I really don’t know how to handle this situation. Any advise would be appreciated.
