I try not to send Kingambit in too early to get maximun Supreme Overlord boost, and he deals with a lot of issues the rest of the team can't.
Feel like there's not much synergy in the team but can't figure out how to make it a bit more viable. In an ideal world with all available pokemon I'd swap out Abomasnow and Armarouge for Alolan Ninetales for the Snow Warning/Aurora Veil and Fairy move, and replace Armarouge with a different mon altogether (waiting on the DLCs with hope A-Ninetales gets in)

getting back to be lazy...i've been drawing non serious stuffs because that's the only thing i can really do for now.., i can't help but questioning how can my mom and sister cry for him..he always abuse my mom verbaly and use to beat her and he put us down by comparing us with stuff he watch on tv, he constently put us under stress we don't even really have the right to laugh and sometimes talk because "it's too loud", that alcoholic bitch ruin/ed almost EVERY events of our lives, with how my mom is reacting to it i think he might have sort of brainwash her into believing it's something normal.., but i can't bring myself to feel sorry for him, in my eyes he's a devil and he left me with trauma..i will never forget the days we had to hide from him, the day he send my mom flying across the corridor and my 3 brothers had to join forces to push him out of home, the day he almost bashed my mom's head with a chair ( i think he only stopped because little me show up at that moment but i don't know ), we called the cops multiples times but they never did anything, worst some of them were his friends..., so yeah i'll NEVER forgive him !!!, i was suppose to die this month but i can't when peoples are at home..i can't do it in April because it's my mom's birth month so i have to push it again for May.., but if he dies ( he cheated death like 3 times already so i don't think it'll be the case ) i'll off myself next year it doesn't sound right to do it in those conditions 🤔

To make a long story short: Against my better judgement, the wife wanted to use a water based finish on top of our stain for our new par top (no smell, quicker drying, does not amber over time). After 6 coats and letting it cure, test spots of jack daniels on the finish for 5-10 minutes left white spots (presumably moisture under the finish). I called the manufacturer, Minwax, and he said try their outdoor spar urethane all weather water finish. I did, 4x coats. First test of JD wiped the finish right up.
Again, against my better judgement. I wanted oil based or epoxy, but here we are. Some woodworking folks said sanding it down at this point to bare wood would be a massive undertaking considering how many coats I have on it. And the wife, again, is against that.
My contractor that built the bar said try shellac. I did on a test strip with better results but it still left a white mark.
The options Im considering.

1. Glass/Tempered Glass/Laminate glass on top of our current bar top. We like the look the stain has and the finish we applied, its just not durable at the moment. This might cost as much as the bar but it is what it is.
2. Have someone, my contractor maybe, come in and remove the bar top and replace with formica/quartz/granite. Im nervous about this because of potential damage to the shiplap (the outside face we used to cover the frame), or damage to the frame)

So what are your thoughts? Understanding the mistakes that have been made, what would you recommend?

Boyfriend (28M) broke up with me (25F) for not seeing his “worldview”.
He is 28M and I'm 25 F. We were together for six years. I always felt like there were issues from the beginning we tried to work through them. In 2019, he broke up with me due to my jealousy issues, which was understandable at the time because I wasn’t quite mature back then. When we got back together in 2020, he said that he missed the relationship and really wanted to work things out for the better. I believed him of course, and took him back. Everything was great. I felt like this time around we were going to be stronger than ever.
Fast forward to Christmas 2022, he revealed to me that the relationship was stagnant. Although he had worked on all the previous flaws in the relationship, there was one itch he couldn't scratch. He said I was not "intellectually stimulating" enough for him. By that I mean, he felt like I couldn't understand his worldviews or things that really interested him. He enjoys the outdoors and travelling, reading and podcasts etc. I also love these things, but I have my own hobbies too. I told him I could try to understand his interests more, but because I'm my own person, I should be allowed to have my own interests too. I noticed he started to look elsewhere for that engagement and made every excuse not to talk to or see me. Eventually, in January 2023, he gave me an ultimatum and said, "I need you to be more engaging and more invested in my interests otherwise I'm going to leave". So I did, I tried to show more interest in everything that interested him, I tried to ask more questions, bring up interesting topics to talk about, and book holidays, and getaways to expand our horizons. I felt pressured to enjoy all the things that interested him, but then I began to neglect the person I really was.
Then he became fixated on how I looked. He said that I had let myself go, and I didn't try to impress him anymore. He asked me why I couldn't put on anything nice. It’s not that I looked homeless or refused to brush my teeth or anything. I still cared about hygiene. I just wanted to wear whatever I want without being judged. I thought we were comfortable in this relationship and I didn't feel the need to dress up all the time except for special occasions. We went to a local restaurant which served Mexican food, he told me he was really upset that I rocked up in a t-shirt and jeans. I asked him why is that a big deal. He said “you don't stop impressing the other person just because you are comfortable”. Meanwhile, his hair was a mess and he wasn’t really wearing anything different to what I was wearing.
Then he had issues with where I was at in life. He's graduated from university and is working for a pretty well-known company, earning a very good salary. Meanwhile, I'm still in college trying to get my degree. He felt as though he was progressing and I wasn't. He gave me another ultimatum and said “I need you put on some nice clothes, is that so hard?” And starting looking down on me because I was still completing my degree.
Then in February 2023, he couldn't take it anymore and broke up with me. The main reason was there are other people that just "get him" and I don't. He said after all these years, he feels I don't know him at all. I feel like I do know him, or at least I wanted to get to know him, but whenever I would ask or pry, he would get annoyed with me. He'd say things like "you just don't get it" or "never mind". It's not that I didn't care about his interests, I just felt pressured all the time. I am deeply heartbroken because all I wanted was to try and understand him but he was convinced that I couldn't do it.
I called him three days ago because I felt like I needed to know how it all came to this. He said that he started feeling off in May 2022 and told me how he was feeling on Christmas day because it seemed like an appropriate amount of time for him to think. I asked him, what took him so long and why didn't he say anything earlier. He said that he needed to get his "bearings" around his feelings, which meant he needed to work out, eat healthily, speak to friends and family about it and then talk to me. I feel like this is such a huge cop-out because hello, the problem is the relationship, why are you not talking to me about it? He said that is who he is and I should have known that by now. Finally, he said that there are women out there who understand him and he doesn't have to explain himself. So he is going to pursue them.
I'm someone who is empathic and takes pride in wanting to know more about people. I don't feel like I'm the person to ignore one's feelings or dismiss the things that interest people. So the break-up made me question who I was as a person. He made me think, do I really not understand people? Am I really not intellectually stimulating enough? Am I boring?
I have never encountered anyone with this kind of behaviour before. I don’t even recognise him anymore and I’m having trouble understanding his beliefs and worldview. Is there really something wrong with me or was there anything I could've done? Or does this seem like something to do with him? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi newparents. My partner and I have a lovely 7 month old girl who, in the last month or 2 especially, struggles to sleep for continuous extended periods, and only sleeps through the night once every week or two.
At night she usually wakes a short while after going down to bed - within the first 30-60 mins when I can simply rock her back to sleep, then again around 2-3am where my partners nurses her for anywhere from 30-90 mins. Often there's another overnight wake period my partner also covers.
We track naps and try to hit targets per the Huckleberry App (she often meets her nap sleep targets but rarely her overnight sleep targets). We're transitioning from 4 naps/day to 3 (or 3.5 sometimes, the half being ~30 mins). We have a bedtime routine that includes some dancing and reading then cozy soft lighting and a sound machine as she nurses to sleep. Baby does not like restrictive sleep sacs, but we do use a less restrictive fleece one. It's usually around 70F in her room, so I don't think she's cold. Any thoughts or recommendations? We're open to just about anything.
My partner and I have also been struggling to agree on an equitable division of labor, and I'd like to hear how other couples do things.
My partner, who is breastfeeding, and stays home with baby, who predominantly sleeps during contact naps or in strollecarrier during walks. I work 2 jobs (1 FT, 1 PT), anywhere between 40-65 hrs per week, and do 90% of the cleaning and household chores (all but her laundry, per her preference).
Because of how rough the recent overnights have been my partner wants me to take one of the overnight wake-ups, but I push back because (a) I don't function as well at work and (b) I don't have the opportunity to nap during the day. Do I just need to suck it up? Thanks in advance for the honesty.

Howdy there. We have a bunch of Zebra ZT610's and the 4x6 labels roll up in the printer almost every day or every other. Has anyone else had this problem? I've switched labels from rolls to fan fold and it still happens. Has anyone had this issue? I've also switched printing speeds, good cleanings, and just can't pinpoint why.

I’m trying to come up with ideas for outdoor places to take my daughter and friends for a few prom pics on Saturday. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant, just pretty scenery. My name is Steven Toth and I am a former LEO lecturer in the department of Chemistry at UM Flint. When I started at UM Dearborn and UM Flint in 2015, I was making $28,000 teaching full time. By the time I left UM in the Summer or 2022 I was making $43000 teaching full time. This is a very large increase- over 60%! Don't take my word for it- my salary info is public and can be seen here:

I can owe this increase in salary to the LEO union that I was a proud member of during my time at UM. During contract negotiations, LEO made salaries a priority and levied an incredible strike threat to force the administration to increase our salaries. During the time of the most recent LEO negotiations, I was the chair of the LEO union at UM Flint and a member of the strike team- the group created to put pressure on the administration in the form of public actions. We organized a lot during this period and really had strong shows of public unity and strength. Members of other unions- including GEO!- came out and support LEO in a huge way, and the administration caved into our biggest demand: Pay parity for lecturers across all three campuses. That's right, starting in 2023, all three campuses will have the same starting salary for lecturers, which is $51000 (a HUGE increase from my starting salary at UM Dearborn of $28000). This win was incredible. I remember when I first started HR said that UM Flint and UM Dearborn lecturers would never be paid the same at UM Ann Arbor Lecs! However, LEO organized, had a lot of help for its allies, and really forced UM to increase salaries to a fair and equitiable wage. If you would've told me that as a lecturer in 2015 that my salary would effectively double by 2023 I would not have believed you. That, however is the power of the union and collective action.

I am so grateful to the LEO Union members for always fighting for me and fighting for a salary that truly made me a better teacher. As my salary increased, my stress decreased, I could quit my second job(s), and I could get reliable transportation. I literally would teach a 200 person Gen Chem class and then go to Barnes & Noble and work as a supervisor. I am so grateful for the other Union members like GEO who supported LEO during these events as well. I support GEO and their strike and I hope they send a strong message to the administration.

PS: I am now a "lecturer equivalent" at Washtenaw Community College. Again, since you can look up my salary I will just tell you- it's $84000. The Univeristy of Michigan has the third largest endownment of any public college at 17.3 billion dollars. The endownment at Washtenaw Community College is significantly less at 20 million dollars. Tuition at WCC is also significantly less per credit hour. If you believe the story that "there just is no money at UM and that's why the salaries have to be so low" you are buying right into the administration's narrative.

PPS: My time at UM was an absolute joy. I loved it, and I loved the students. I taught at all three campuses. This was truly one of the happiest times of my life. I also think I did a good job and had a pretty good reputation, but that is certainly up to the students and not to me. The only reason I left UM was because of the WCC salary offer. I get that "money isn't everything" or whatever but it sure does help. If UM could've matched my WCC salary I may still be there. Good salaries retain top talent. GEO is fighting to make a better campus atmosphere for all students.

4.5 year old male Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix. It’s getting worse. Every time I get up he gets up and barks. Follows me. He can be laying next to me and if I get on the phone and he hears me talking he gets up will pace, try to get my attention.
Sometimes he will come over to me to but a lot of the time isn’t lovable though and almost seems scared of me sometimes. He is a lot more lovable towards my husband but he doesn’t get up and bark as much when he gets up. I can be sitting on the recliner chair and as soon as he hears it (it’s electric) he sits up and watch me to check if I’m getting up or jumps down right away.
He also will sit on me if my husband raises his voice at all or any sudden movements like if he is folding clothes etc. Is the dog coming to me for protection or protecting me?

so first let me start this by saying I'm not mad just telling a story. today me and my siblings were walking our neighborhood trail. we usually go to the left but it's boring its only got a golf course. I usually want to see more. but my nay saying brother say's it's too far and my sister listens. we've grown up sheltered I'm 18 he's 17 and my sister 20. anyways my brother went to look for golf balls to collect to get money. and he was told by us to not to go to that brook, its got water and big branches and rocks. but he didn't listen and went in and collected golf balls, and we followed him. keep in mind this hood is overrated sorta plain. don't let me fool you its overrated and I'm hyping it . so after he went and did what he wanted and since it was dangerous, I thought well if he can do that let me ask can we go to the new trail on the other side of the neighborhood. I did insist to my sister to go even though she was hesitant. but I felt she just didn't want to go because I wanted too and to always make my plans bad. because she told our brother not to go into that ditch with sharp rocks and pointy branches and he didn't listen. and she didn't stop him or anything but helped him. so after I insisted I got my way. me and my siblings started walking it was fun at first we saw a school and a whole other neighborhood. but then my brother lost his gloves so we had to go back. then we realized we were lost I mean I was confused we took so many turns, and it all looked the same. me and my bro only remembered so many landmarks. but we were still not sure anyways we were all getting stressed. and my sister first thing blames me and throws me under the bus, saying and destiny wanted to go here. and I thought to myself yes I wanted to go here and insisted but you agreed. you said yes we could walk the trail the trail was long and it didn't matter how long you said we could. so the first sign of trouble you blame me. so I said you're a grown women you chose to come. then she was said your a grown women too. and I'm like yeah but I'm not blaming anyone. than we walked than I heard her say and she told us to go here and my brother was like yeah blaming me. so I said check your phone for the GPS. she said I don't know where we are. I'm like yeah that's what the GPS is for. we know our neighborhood so it tells you were you are and were to go back too. she used it and guess what we got back. anyways I did keep asking AITA for insisting on going to a new neighborhood and forgetting my way..

There seems to be this phenomenon where people think they need to reserve seven chairs at 6am for the entire family. Leaving it impossible to find one at 10 when you come down. Stop the madness people. Please just use a chair when you are there using the pool. And for the love of god, YOUR SMALLER CHILDREN DO NOT NEED THEIR OWN LOUNGE CHAIR!!! Can I tell you how many times I see families reserve five chairs, including three for their kids ages 3. 6, and 9. Your small children do not need a chaise lounger bc they don’t get out of the pool for more than a second! And if they do they can sit at your feet on your giant chair. Or, get your butt up for a second. PLEASE STOP reserving chairs for each fucking member of your family, drop your towels then walk away back to your room or beach. Just to return hours later and actually use only two of them. If we could all use our brains and practice this, maybe YOU will find a chaise lounge available when you go down to the pool!

Under this bill: - Breeders with one or more breeding females must apply for a breeding certificate from the Department of Agriculture with an annual fee not exceeding $500. - Breeder’s facilities must be inspected and facilities must meet federal regulations. These include non-porous surfaces (no carpet or upholstery), rigorous air exchange systems, and unrestricted access to the outdoors. - Limitations on the number of breeding females per breeder are included but as yet unspecified. - Limitations on the number of times a female can be bred annually are included but as yet unspecified. - All dog breeders’ certificate of registration information would be published on a website for the public to see. - Dogs may be seized, without compensation, from a breeder’s home (“breeding facility”) if inspectors—who can be any “person, municipality, county or organization”–conclude the facility is not in compliance. - All dogs must be microchipped. When a breeding female dies, a notarized letter from a licensed veterinarian noting the cause of death must be submitted to the Department of Agriculture.

But yes! Hello it's my first time on reddit! A little-lot about me:

1. I first used reddit as of posting this about 2-ish weeks ago but I've shadowed Reddit for much longer. I never wanted to make an account due to shyness, confusing rules, and the dreaded censorship that seems to plague every platform. (Plz don't ban me reddit, I beg.) However due to my introvertedness taking over more and more, now seemed like a good a time as any!
   
2. Yep! The name comes from a Nickelodeon cartoon, and if I have to explain from: ¹ how dare you. ² we can't be friends!
   
3. I browsed over hundreds of subreddits, always thinking if I ever did join - where would I start? I had ideas of where, but not-so-much when...And given said strict rules, I always thought I had a knit and knack for sentence structure, spelling and grammar as I've been complimented on my penmanship and organization skills...yet, reddit I'm sure will truly test me on that. I've been out of an English class for many, many years now. So forgive me in advance I'll try my best!
   
4. Speaking of many, many years - I'm not so young and not so old either! It's a mystery. And as per reddit guidelines to not share sensitive information - I suppose I will keep it that way. You'll just have to think of me as an enigmatic mr. magoo-like shape; formless in the hands of it's users, but an organized cut figure in staunch of his allies. Think of Inspector gadget except more mysterious. (And who trips on his own shoelaces.) So...basically Timmy's dad!
   
5. I'm a gamer, hobbiest writer and photographer, and a perspective teacher (in my former years) and I plan on adding a bit of each into their respective subreddit categories in some form of time. I write amateur poetry from time to time, stemming from natural & creative to erotic prose gasp! and when I feel like it - short stories. I tend to also gravitate towards shapeable wordless songs and giving them my own spin (like ost's), as well as coming up with songs lyrics of my own. I went to a magnet school in my younger years for all of the above forms of writing as well as screenwriting and playwriting. All of this is fun to me and that's the extent of it. Nothing more. If you stumble upon any of my former pieces searching for an answer as to why I wrote some of the things I said, or why I said them...it comes down to just whatever floats into my peripheral vision in that given moment; sometimes it's music that inspires me, and othertimes it's just what needs to be said. And hey, sometimes I'm blindsided by my blindspots. And other, other, some times I stop using the word "time" so often! Grrr!
   
6. As for games, I'm a replayer of not-so-old games that are not so timeless, but not-so new anymore eiGarrett! This is mainly due to financial tightness and that older games charm I can't forget. Games such as:
   

• Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days (and all it's entries, except Unchained X)
• Resident Evil 4
• Uncharted 3 (and all it's entries, except Golden Abyss)
• Breath of the Wild
• Sonic Advance 2 & 3
• Yugioh 5d's Wheelie Breakers
• Yugioh 5d's world championship 2011: Over the Nexus
• Yugioh Tagforce 4 & 5
• Destiny 1 & 2
• Apex Legends

(There are others, but these are some games I hold dear that come off the top of my head.)
I've found games sometimes help shape and induce flow-like states to help us ease into transitions of moment-to-moment actions defining our playable characters, some. Or in other cases, defining ourselves most when we need to caught between a rock and a hard place...like in a gunfight...(I'm looking you Apex Legends, Uncharted, and Destiny.) But yes, in those instances - I've found that what help shape me along with some of the game's life-lessons taught to our characters, did indeed help shape me into the person I am today. (Inb4 someone says I identify as Harumo-chan the master of hoe-jitsu), lol no I'm saying the best parts about our characters can help shape us sometimes without us even knowing it. (But Harumo-chan did help shape me Timmy, why can't you see that?) More power to you then. The best parts for some and the worser parts for others i suppose. :P
6½. What i mean to the last point is, part of my strength I've found is from when I draw strength from other strong characters I've seen and what they've been through; (or put you through and thus you're going through the sh*t-show together.) Characters that have really inspired me are probably namely Sora, Riku & Roxas from Kingdom Hearts, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, Sonic, and Yusei from Yugioh 5d's. I know, very adult of me right? Mm, I am interested however where others draw their strength from? Which form of medium do they choose, why did they choose it and who do they draw strength from if not in a show or game?
I could talk about why I choose these individual characters but I believe that's best suited for another thread/post. P.s. as for tv shows though? A huge inspiration i draw from is Rick, from the walking dead. I don't watch many new shows anymore. (As for why that is, maybe that's also best suited for another post.)

1. Speaking of shows - I don't really have time to watch anime all that much but some influential ones I've grown to be very fond of are:

• Yugioh 5d's (subbed)
• Sword Art Online (subbed) and season 1 only
• Soul Eater
• Avatar: The Last Airbender (yes this counts lol)
• DragonBall Super (subbed)
• Soul Eater
• Gundam
• Golden Time (one of the first anime's I've cried to, though that was a long time ago, would be interesting if I have the same reaction rewatching it. All I remember is getting exceptionally emotional and invested which was out of the usual for me. Although I can't remember which part got me the most.)

There are others, and I've seen all series of Yugioh and DragonBall alike, but these in particular stood out to me. For DragonBall Super mostly due to the absolute insanity the tournament of power was and that last fight. I've seen other animes or stopped, started and stopped again as I couldn't get invested into them. That's why Golden Time really took me by surprise. Same with Yugioh 5d's and S1 of Sword Art Online. I am interested to see what other subreddits with differing views on what sorts of animes other people prefer or recommend I watch.
Same with games, music or movies.
To wrap up,
Tldr; you can call me Timmy (Timmm-aH!) For short, or even shorter than short - dad, just don't get weird with it, (unless?...no I'm joking, unless?...) and I'm here like anyone else to peruse reddit on useful or entertaining things!
