I’ve been married to my (36f) husband (38m) for almost 4 years. This was a big deal because we were pretty serious from the start. I think we may have even been engaged.
Now, I don’t think he is cheating as in having an emotional affair or fucking other women. We are together almost 24/7 aside from when he’s in the bathroom. He isn’t texting when we’re together and I’ve never caught him secretly texting or anything like that. BUT I do think he has a porn addiction and is watching saved old videos of women he used to fuck. You would have to actively save a video in Snapchat, right? Is this common for married men to do? He claims he doesn’t know who that woman is and he deleted it so now I can’t see.
Now he’s acting offended that I would “accuse him” of watching porn of people he knows “without proof”. He thinks because we’re having sex now that it’s fine. I think it’s cheating and it makes me feel so insecure. I already hate my body and the girl in the video was more attractive than me.
I’m not sure how to feel about this but he’s totally denying it. He has some old hard drives he keeps in a basket beside the bed with a hard drive adapter. I really want to see what’s on them. I tried but couldn’t figure it out. He has an apple laptop and I know how he is about security, so I don’t even know if I could. If anyone wants to help me figure it out, I would be grateful for tips.

Today my best friends daughter turned 1, they invited me over to celebrate with them. I usually don't do parties just rarely ever so often. I decided to go today because well I felt like I needed to be there for my friend. He doesn't have many friends here since he moved from another state over. Anyway I felt this would be a good opportunity to mingle a little bit more.
The party was going great, I talked with my friend most of the time but it was good to get out a little. All of a sudden he approached me about his wife's friend that was coming to the party. He told me that they wanted me to talk to her. At first I told him I'm not really looking to talk to anyone at the time but part of me just wanted to go for it so I told him I'll introduce myself when she gets here.
A little bit later she finally arrived and when I first glanced at her I kinda got butterflies. She was gorgeous!! I mean I kept an open mind but I was still surprised. Didn't necessarily fall in love but it was in that path 😅. I told my friend that I was going to back out of talking to her. She was way out of my league or so I thought, but this had always been my problem talking to women. I literally fold 9/10. Despite my friend hyping me up the whole time I couldn't bring myself to hold a conversation with her. On my way out I walked up to her and introduced myself and so did she.
I'm back at home now just with her name but all I'm thinking about is why I didn't try harder, take that chance... I really thought she was great but the actions didn't move further than the thought.

Flavor Preface
One of Gollum's most defining traits is his tendency to talk to himself. This is probably at least partially due to being stuck in a dark cave by himself for five centuries, but also partially the Ring (through Gollum) talking to Sméagol; with Sméagol being the part of Gollum that's still himself. Frodo, using the Ring, managed to get Sméagol to come out some and Sméagol (in a temporary alliance/truce with Gollum) guided Frodo to Mordor. This is crucial: Frodo and Sam would not have made it to Mount Doom without Sméagol, and Sméagol does intend to help Frodo and Sam.
Color
I like that they slightly move Sméagol off of mono-Black. He still wants the Ring, he still wants power: but he has a little corner of his mind that's his own. That Green side is what helps get Sméagol to be helpful.
Abilities
Gollum is a tough character to adapt. I think they did a solid job here with Sméagol filtering through the lands of the enemy to guide you. It's clunky and imperfect, but I don't see a much better way to capture that flavor. I don't quite get the first ability (when a creature dies the Ring tempts you) but I assume it's only included for there to be a built in way to activate Smeagol's second ability which is fine.

Dear /arduino community,
This is my first time posting here, and I have read the rules in the community before posting. I hope I am following them correctly. If anyone here is kind enough to help me with this beginner's project, I'd really appreciate some input.
I am currently working on a personal project where I can track my current location with an Adafruit GPS by following a guide posted by a man named PaulMcWhorter. Everything seems to be working fine. After hooking up the Adafruit GPS and getting a Fix Signal(blinking every 15 seconds) from lesson 22, I am able to receive NMEA statements in my output. I have the Rx pin connected to Pin 0 of my Arduino Uno and Tx Pin connected to Pin 1.
My issue is with lesson 23 where I hook up the MH-SD Card Module and use Digital Pins 2 and 3 as my Tx and Rx pins. I get nothing as my output. So I used ChatGPT to help me with troubleshooting. I added a print statement saying "Initializing GPS..." to help me identify the root cause, and the statement keeps being printed in my output window. Without it, I get nothing.
Here is a couple of I have already tried:
-I have checked the circuit multiple times to make sure it's not a cabling issue. -I am using 115200 baud in my output setting. -I have swapped the Digital pins to different ones and also the Tx with the Rx. -I've tried both locked and unlocked settings on the SD card

Any help would be much appreciated. I've also tried using Google and reading the comments on the video, but I cannot find a solution to this issue. I'm a bit lost, but I believe with a little help, I can get this working. Cheers in advance for anyone willing to help. Just in case, here is a picture of my circuit.

I work part-time in a small business. The small business in question does not have a HR department and everyone almost knows everyone. My regular boss is on vacation, and my "assistant manager" was scheduled to do the opening procedures at 8:30am this morning, and we open at 9am. He has a repeated habit of failing to show up until 5-10 minutes before we open. I do not have keys to unlock/lock the store, nor do I know the combination to the safe.
Anyway, I made a comment to him (let's call him "Aggressive"), in a non-snarky tone, about how it would be great if he can show up on time. He proceeds to escalate in his verbal hostility towards me, repeatedly telling me to "shut the fuck up" and to go home. I am always early, never late. I am always a hard-worker and consistently get all of my duties done. "Aggressive" then becomes irate and knocks down/destroys the plastic see-through covid barrier (between customers and employees), looks me in the eye and nearly almost gets in my face while I'm sitting at my desk. Yelling and getting verbally feisty with me. He implies that he wants to cause harm to me.
I eventually called in another coworker to cover for me. "Aggressive" is scheduled to work this weekend, and I definitely do not feel safe or welcome around him, so I'm not going in tomorrow. My boss is on vacation but I spoke with him on the phone. "Aggressive"'s behavior is definitely unwelcome, unsafe, and very unprofessional.
He has a history of cold behavior towards me. I would describe his personality as short, temperamental, and cocky. I have never called him names, or been hostile or mean or rude to him. I'm not sure what his deal is. My boss mentioned Aggressive may have marriage problems and has a short fuse, but even then his behavior is inexcusable.
I already filed a police report prior to my phone call with my boss, who said I shouldn't have done that. My boss doesn't return until Wednesday or Thursday. I plan on going to his own boss on Monday and explain the situation. Everything was caught on video camera. The audio I'm unsure. Another coworker bore witness to the incident.
What should I do if my employer retaliates against me? What should I do if they won't discipline or fire him? Thank you in advance.

I jumped out of bed and had to quick put on some pants and unlocked the door. When I opened it he screamed at me for a good 2 minutes about how I cannot lock doors. I told him it was an accident and that I had locked it while I was changing into my Pajamas. He told me that I shouldn't lock my door when I am changing as he doesn't know what I could be doing. I understand not locking it at night as that could be dangerous but I told him it was an accident. He is always so mad at everything I do. I can't do something right around him. It's like walking on egg shells. He wont even let me lock the door while I am using the bathroom. I have learned to lock the door as I am shutting it so he can't hear the noise. He also doesn't like it if I am up in my room at all besides when I am sleeping. If I go upstairs into my room he comes up and makes me come out.
Idek, I feel crazy. Is that wrong to lock doors while using the bathroom. I guess I could get hurt and he can't get to me.

Flavor Preface
Old Man Willow is a tree in the Old Forest which traps Merry and Pippin in its roots temporarily. It is a shadow of its former self and is controlled by Tom Bombadil under song. It's unclear if the tree is just a tree, or a former Ent, or a Huorn, or a Maiar like a Balrog.
Colors
Green for a certainty, Black makes some sense but I would have preferred mono-Green. Green is perfectly capable of Malice and Anger.
Abilities
If they wanted to really capture Old Man Willow (or the name he has for himself: Great Willow) I would have made a card that traps someone and strangles them. I would have given Old Man Willow the first ability (Power and Toughness equal to the number of lands you control), given him a lure ability (force people to block) and then given him wither. So a card is trapped into blocking Old Man Willow, and then the Willow and 'strangle' them with -1/-1 counters.

I need someone who’s more understanding of this topic than me. I had a dream last night about a guy I met last year on vacation and fell in love with. We met and really had an amazing time. Then when we had to part ways and despite being really down about it we talked almost everyday after. But it slowly began to fade. Eventually, a little after the 3 month mark, I’d realized he moved on and I never blamed him or myself, just the distance that wasn’t exactly ideal. Later I found out he still talked to me a little while he was with her but never talked to me about relationship or anything just small talk. When I found out they were together though I blocked him on snapchat and unfollowed him on everything else because I couldnt live with just being friends with him. The decision was best for me in the moment. I cried for hours and still, I think about it and feel myself starting to choke. Anyway, I know he’s viewed my tiktok profile a few times but he never unfollowed me. Long story short, I’m still not over him and it’s been 11 months.
Into the dream portion, last night I had a dream about him. Now i’ve had a couple dreams about him before but nothing really hit me like this one. I vividly remember him looking at me and saying “you can’t look at me like you love me”. It won’t stop replaying in my mind and part of me wonders if it means anything but I’m not expert on anything like this. I’ve tried researching but honestly everything I see seems biased or opinionated. I’m not saying I don’t mind that however if I’m going to get an opinion I want it catered to my situation to give me some peace of mind. I’ve heard that having dreams about certain people can mean that they’re thinking about you or something like that but that has to be a far-fetched idea. Then and again i’d like to believe it lol!!

As most in the vegan community have, I heard about the animal agriculture documentary Dominion. I've avoided watching it, knowing what the subject of the film is, and already being aware of the atrocities committed against the innumerable number of animals behind the walls of these places. I didn't think I could stomach that kind of visceral, brutally honest and analytically observant inside look into the lives of these animals that we demand live under these conditions. We both decided to stop at the 38 minute mark, after the segment featuring standard practices regarding pigs and halfway through the segment about chickens.
I've been at odds with my partner, loving him with an intensity only matched by the stark awareness I have of the knife wielding, electro-shock/gun bolt to the head violence that he was partaking in. He is the most genuine and intellectually honest person I've ever met. Ironically, I was vegetarian when I met him, and seeing how steadfast he was in his morals and loyalty to others was what finally pushed me to be vegan two years ago. He was consistent in his treatment of friends, family, and his resolution to uphold the values that he holds so close regarding personal integrity.
I love this man very dearly. He's supported me during family cookouts and the occasional remarks about what I'm choosing to put on my plate. But until we watched this documentary he wasn't able to contextualize what we do to animals. One of the scenes that affected him the most were the sows in their farrowing crates, unable to move, and crushing their young to death beneath their immobile bodies. That and of the young girl tossing a tray of baby chicks into a pen full of other chickens.
It was the worst horror movie I've ever seen in my entire life, and I've seen some fucked up horror movies. He was a film major in college, trying to look at it initially through a film makers lens. He mentioned how cold and analytical it was. No pandering to emotions, apolitical. The film shows you what's happening, and requires nothing other than statistics and footage to instill on the viewer a sense of dread, horror, and sadness.
Seeing pigs in a rotating gas chamber... Shot in the head, stunned with prods, throats cut, tails docked without medication, forcibly impregnanted with semen, using male pigs to "excite" sows and kicking them out of the way to insert semen specimens into them. Throwing baby piglets across a room by the ankles. Fuck, the list goes on. He couldn't even watch it anymore.
So uh... He threw out all of the animal products he had in the fridge and we're making vegan enchiladas tomorrow with a modified recipe from his abuela 🥹
