With Mel confirming recently that the songs in the album are about spirituality and the point between life and Death as well as have multiple meanings. I wanted to talk about the three meanings ive seen with the song.
There are a few religions in the world that believe in reincarnation. Buddhism is on of them. A good example of this is in Avatar the last Airbender. The Avavtar has one spirit that lives many lives. After an Avatar passes a new Avatar is born. They dont remember much about their past lives but they can connect with them and speak to them in a time of need.
Past life regression Therapy(which Melanie studied for sometime) is similar.
During a session people explore their past lives and how exactly they died in it to see if any experiences in that past life has anything to do with things they struggle with in their current life. Void could relate to this kind of session as it can bring up alot of heavy emotions, fears, and anxieties.
Crybaby is reincarnating into her new life as the fairy creature. Her soul is the same but its starting a new journey in this new reality so that her soul can evolve. Thats what past life therapist have said about past lives. The reason why they exist is because souls evolve by having experiences in different planes of existence(Refer to K-12 lilith scenes).

This is probably Mel saying that the character Crybaby isnt completely gone. She is just evolved and in a new body that is developing her soul further. Mel comforts us throughout the song saying its okay im still here. Like the ghost of a lost loved one which fits the songe perfectly.
Basically Mel is comforting everyone letting them know that Crybaby's death isnt something to mourn because Crybaby( and Mel) was okay with dieing. It set their soul and themselves free from the world they grew out of and they are ready to grow further and evolve their soul more. Mel is read to evolve and explore themselves more and their spirituality.
Anyways i think im done unless i come up with more meaning in the future.
This album is gonna be fun to decode. I love how Mel gave it multiple meanings. The fan theories are gonna be epic.

I have a player who was in-training with the spirit wardens before dropping out when his brother died. Thing is, he knows the identity of a Warden. Both know the other know but its a mutually assured destruction relationship if anyone found out.
Thing is I'm wondering how to bring her in as a rival.
Secondly, how do you all make the Spirit Wardens feel their tier and a scary force to have come in after a death, etc.?

I do not know why but this week’s school shotting is really bothering me. I am not sure if it is because it is a private school and I somehow thought that such schools were immune to that type of violence . Perhaps I have finally got to an age where I hate to think that a young person with their whole life ahead of them could do such horrible things. While I know that twenty-eight is not such a young age and technically an adult, when I think back of my life in my late twenties, I still think of a child trying to find his way in life.
Let me begin by making an unpopular statement. I believe in responsible gun ownership, whatever that means. I grew up hunting and fishing and I like many older adults who grew up in a rural area I can remember going to school with kids who left their hunting rifles in their gun racks in the school parking lot. I was taught gun safety as a child and young adult. I also would go on to serve in the military and be taught how to operate all kinds of small arms and semi and fully automatic weapons. But I still just sit here and hurt and cringe thinking about this latest tragedy.
Truthfully, this past week I have begun to look my students differently. I have really begun to see their youth and innocence again. To really look into their eyes and acknowledge them. To look beyond their outward appearance and truly look behind their eyes. Even the students that are difficult to manage I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. The students who do not do assignments and routinely disrupt my class I am trying to really to see them. Because this week I just feel sad for them. Yes, that is it. I just feel so very sad for them.
I can remember being in the war and thinking I signed up for this. Heck, I not only signed up for this I volunteered to go overseas. I accepted a certain amount of risk and when bad things happened, I tried to remember that it was my choice to be there. But these kids …. And these parents … And these communities …
I have really begun to see the students differently this week. I have really begun to look beyond their youthful, tired eyes. I know in this sub we spend a lot of time talking about the struggles and challenges that we face as educators but this week I have been reminded of theirs.
Thank you for allowing me a space to vent and express some of my thoughts. I truly hope that even the unpopular opinions are accepted in grace and the spirit in which they were intended. And now I ask you dear reader and fellow educator. Are any of you seeing your students differently this week ?

Basically title.
I'm trying to solo flawless every dungeon, and in these last few days I tried the abovementioned one just to test and try different builds before the real attempts, and oh boy.....
Phalanx almost one-shotting you because they still launch you at Mach-3 speed towards the walls, bells not functioning properly as they ring with a delay 2 out of 3 times, and now that I finally killed the Nightmare of Caiatl I still can't get the triumph of the solo-run because reasons, the screen started flashing with hive's green effects but nothing changed and I stayed the full 300 seconds in the Nightmare/final arena.
How are we supposed to try and have "fun" with a so poorly made content where your efforts aren't valued at all? To be clear, this isn't the end of the world, but if even a "simple" triumph as getting the dungeon done alone isn't recognised, how are we supposed to try to get to the next level with a flawless run?

So, new user here. My wife and I both have the resmed Airsense 11 and use the N30i mask.
The hose connector at the top of your head leaks like it's blowing up a balloon. When my wife lays down I get a full force wind in my face from the connector at the top of her head. Mine is the same.
Is this a "design feature" or is there some way to make it stop leaking at this level. The machine says there is an 8L/min leak - all the time. I'm guessing it's this connector that is doing it.
As far as I can see, there's no o-ring (or anything like one) in that connector. The air is coming from the snap connection between the top of the silicon face tube and 90 degree elbow.
We both use heated tubes. I know how to do any clinical settings needed. We live in Ecuador, so running into the local DME supply shop isn't exactly a short trip.

Looking for a girl/trans bff because it would be nice to have someone who can relate with low self esteem given how we're expected to be love dolls instead of someone who has a voice and brain. As off putting as this may sound, I am Literally depressed. Hibernation mode and struggled to get up because my spirits were literally limp and my body just was lethargic, too. I have had no one to rely on for a while now. Having a female bestie who may be able to relate with how hollow it feels to be sexually objectified even by boyfriends who speaks of monogamy and values, would be a reassuring first step to friendship. Just so you know, I am struggling because unseeing nihilism once you learn enough facts of history(brutality), society(how unkind & thoughtless people are) and life(bureaucracy & paradoxes, cruelty) and how we literally can't do anything against masses, just like how the majority of the US decided to make Abortion Illegal BEFORE even making adjustments on content projected on Television to teenagers, including the entire tiktok and Instagram oversexualisation of sexes for the sake of "social validation"?? I wish there was either a button that could erase all of life in all universes and galaxies, or one where the seven deadly sins did not plague mankind and the innocent curiosity and open mind we had as children weren't tainted and ruined and even shamed for being "too childish". Children being shamed and invalidated, forced to "grow up" without Any Context for all the traumatising extreme exposures bred these generations of overly sexual youths and the cycle of abuse just goes on and it's becoming worse. I'm here posting, hoping to meet a good friend. Even though I'm someone neurotic and nihilistic. There seems to be a lot of people online who don't know when to pause or how to pause before sending messages or leaving comments; either it's out of loneliness, boredom or whatever it is. So in case it's a redundant action/message unhelpful to the point of my post on this online bulletin board, please take a moment to evaluate and make a sound decision as a responsible adult. :)

I've been with my boyfriend for just shy of 5 years and we live together. He comes from a big extended family (25-ish first cousins) who are great and know how to party! We're in our mid-20s and many of them have been in my life since I was in high school, before we were "officially" dating. This year, some of his older cousins have adopted a no-plus-one-unless-there's-a-ring policy. I kept quiet the first time, which would have been my 5th wedding with his family (although an exception was made for another ringless-girlfriend, which stung a bit). With another one looming, though, I'm preemptively feeling slighted. On the one hand, I totally get it - the cost of weddings, like everything, has skyrocketed and I'm not entitled to an invite! But I also find this rule hurtful to people who opt out of marriage long-term, whatever the reason. My boyfriend insists it's not his place to ask and attended/plans to attend without me, should a plus-one not be mentioned on the second pending invitation. He feels a wedding invitation you have to beg for isn't one you really want. Should I just bite my tongue until there's a ring on my own finger?
For clarity, I've heard through the grapevine that the second wedding will have the same policy - no invitations have been sent yet, so it's not technically confirmed, but likely. For further clarity, I have no clue why his cousin's girlfriend got an invite - she's not particularly close to the bride or groom. My boyfriend said it was clear she was the exception and it was almost awkward she was there. The bride's family hosted (not my boyfriend's aunt/uncle), so I totally understood why I wasn't invited given the 'policy', no hard feelings. Plus, it was way out-of-town; we live in the southeast and that wedding was in California.
Any brides have any POV insight? Have you adopted a similar policy? Would you be horrified if someone asked? Or guests, would you ask?

I soloed everything in my playthroughs, except for when a trophy explicitly required me to summon. No shortcuts either, such as having other players drop items for me for certain trophies. 633 hours total. The three customers come through the self checkout and start ringing their items up. They realize they need to take a decent amount off, so I tell them I'll move it to another (normal) register, just so it doesn't take so long. For self checkout, you have to scroll through the items and void it, for a normal register, you press the void button and scan the item. It's just faster.
They're fine with that, and I void about six or seven items, and tell them their total. I void one or two more things before they start paying. They're paying with an EBT card, a debit card, and another different debit card.
"There's $9 on the EBT card, so we'll do that first."
Sure thing, I punch in the $9, she swipes it, it goes through and pays for $9 of the food items. This is where the confusion begins.
"And then I wanna pay for the cash. How much is that?"
... you tell me. You're the one with the cash, and I was under the impression you were only using cards. I assume she means the non-food items, so I tell her, "The register doesn't separate the non-food items from the food, so it doesn't give me a total for those items."
Did I misunderstand her? She acted like I was speaking a completely different language. So I try to clarify what she meant.
"You said you were paying for the cash, what do you mean by the 'cash'?"
"The cash, you know, the cash items." ... so non-food items. So I didn't misunderstand, that is what I figured, and the register doesn't separate the totals like that. It doesn't give me a total for the non food and the food items.
I ask if she's paying with another EBT card, and she isn't. I don't get why it would matter whether she pays what she can with one card and then with the other... if she isn't using an EBT card. Even if she was, she'd do both EBT cards first, it'd either pay for part of the food items or all of the food items, depending on if they have more food items than what's on the card, and then they'd pay the rest with a debit card, so splitting it up wouldn't be necessary because it's debit or "cash" either way. All while we're talking about this, I hear one of them say they didn't have time for this and they needed to go. They were in a rush. They were rushing me and the girl figuring out what to keep and what to take off.
Regardless, I tell her I can add it up on my phone, but it won't include tax. She still looks confused, I'm definitely confused, but as long as it's paid for, I don't really care. It was less than I thought, about 6-7 items, I add them up, it comes up for $14.06.

The remaining amount was about $50, and the other person she was with uses their card and pay that.
I'm confused for so many different reasons. I'm confused because they wanted to split up the non-food and food items, even though both were being paid with debit in the end. I'm confused because they went up to the register knowing there's $9 of EBT, $14.36 on a debit card, and $50 on another card, but they still scanned everything and saw the number go above their budget. I don't want to sound out of touch, I know everything is expensive and everyone's budgets are getting tighter, I get it, I'm experiencing that too. But you have the budget, you know how much can be paid for, so why not keep track of it as you're putting stuff in your cart? Why not keep track of the total at the register? It's on the screen, everything is on the screen, so it just doesn't... make sense to me? And if you're in a rush, why create two extra steps when you could have kept track of it, instead of rushing me and the other girl at the end? Why is you being in a rush my problem when you are the one who did this?

This is partly to vent and also maybe get advice. We’ve been working with a local jeweler to make a custom ring for a few weeks now. We picked him because he has a lot of experience, his prices were cheaper, he said that he wouldn’t charge sales tax if we paid in cash. I was under the assumption that we would pick a design first, he’ll make a CAD drawing, then make any modifications as necessary, make the wax mold, and then the ring.
The issues: - He backtracked on the no tax with cash during a later appointment when I asked
I asked to make a small modification which was to taper the cathedral a little. Then he got annoyed at me, basically accusing me of being wishy washy because I sent him multiple pictures of different ring designs. He even printed them out and was like, “You sent me this one… then this one… then this one. These are all different designs, how am I supposed to know what you want if you keep changing your mind??” I said that if he read my emails, he would have noticed that I pointed out specific details from each picture. He also said that making modifications will increase the price because the CAD designers are paid $65/hour. I’m like, uh you didn’t mention that any adjustments would increase the cost.
He took me to the CAD designer to explain what I wanted. He continued to complain how I sent him all these ring designs and that they were all different. He also told me that the diamond basket would be bulky and stressed to the CAD designer that I wanted it when it wasn’t my idea in the first place. Besides that, the designer said that an important detail I really wanted (which was previously confirmed by the jeweler) wasn’t possible. At that point I felt exasperated and barely made any changes to the design. I felt so upset afterwards that I even cried at home.
Honestly, I don’t even want to work with him anymore but we still have to pay for the CAD rendering and wax. At this point I don’t even care if my boyfriend proposed with an onion ring. I don’t want to keep wasting time on this process and just want to get it done and over with. The ring will be close to what I want and I can live with that. What do you guys think?

He calls me after I send my emails so I know he’s opening them but he doesn’t address all my concerns or just brush them off. He rambles a lot and it’s hard to get a word in. He focuses more on what he considers as important which I can understand but ignores some of specific details I want. I thought OK I should just trust the process and let him do his job; we’ll make any modifications when the CAD drawing is done.

Hi everyone!
I have been using a genuine PS3 controller to play on my laptop and had no issues, right until I jumped into Elden Ring. For the longuest time I thought the problem was me, and then maybe the game, but no, it's a controller issue:
If i grip the left handle too hard, it triggers the left hand menus. It cycles through through my spells especially. It makes any serious boss battle unmanageable, unless I go in there with a single spell equipped.
I've tried another PS3 controller and had the same effects.
So now I'm thinking it's time to treat myself to something sturdier, because I literally can't play the game, and haven't, for weeks. Too much of a chore and can't 'git gud' if the game is basically randomizing and making me crouch or unequip gear without me noticing.
What are you using? A controller that's never failed you? And maybe doesn't cost 200£, that'd be nice too x'D
Of course any advice on fixing the PS3 controller that may have worked for you is very welcome as well.

To read and watch videos and realize that your own unique love story turned hate story was just a pattern that has played out many, many times before. To find out that what something so significant to your life was just a simple bait and switch trick.
It is what it is. We need to accept we got scammed, and deal with it for what it is, not what we wish it might be.

I am trying to build a PC for the first time for gaming at 1080p (The games I would like to play are Elden ring, maybe Cyberpunk, Valorant, and maybe some Minecraft with mods) and streaming and I've done a bit of research on what I want out of this and I will try to explain what I'm trying to go for with this build. I don't really have a budget but that doesn't mean I'm not trying to save money where I can which is one of the reasons why I'm asking for help and/or tips. The main reason I picked some of these parts is so I could later on upgrade stuff like the CPU or GPU. The CPU I want to use for now is the Ryzen 5 5600 and later down the line like in maybe 3~4 years go for something like the 5800x3d which I would like to pair with I suppose a Nvidia 4000 GPU or maybe a 3080 3090. I'm not really sure what I would want or what would be a good combo CPU and GPU for the more higher tier GPUS but basically I want this current build to have a future where I can use the more powerful GPUS without having to replace a lot of the other parts.
First up the reason I went with a 5600 CPU is because I wanted a cheap enough chip that I could use with my current 3060 GPU and that it wont bottleneck it. The price I'm getting it at is $129.99 plus some tax but I might be able to get it $25 off I'm not sure yet.
I didn't include a cooler cause I plan to use the included cooler for a while just to save some money for the time being and later maybe buy a AIO if I see the temps being high and also for looks or Ill pick a Air Cooler I don't really know yet.
The reason I picked this motherboard is for the WIFI because my internet box isn't close by to connect it and it has bios flashback that will let me use the 5800x3d or any other 5000 series CPU. I also just simply like how it looks. The price I can get it for is $149.99 plus tax which seems pretty good unless anyone thinks I could get something even cheaper with WIFI and bios flashback that lets me upgrade to a 5800x3d later on (and it looks nice enough).
The ram was mostly picked for looks but I heard that 3200 CL16 is a good type to get so that's why I picked what I did. The price is $54.02 plus some tax so if you have any advice for the ram please let me know.
Now I know the SSD is maybe overkill but I just picked it to use my PCIe4 slot with something good so I wouldn't need to upgrade it or anything and it has enough storage for a good while I think. The price is about $74.20 including tax so if I could go cheaper then please leave some suggestions and why.

Now I know I could have gone with AMD or maybe Intel ARC to spend less for more or less the same performance but I would like to stream and Nvidia GPUS are I believe better for such task but unless I'm missing something please let me know.
I just like the case and it comes with 3 RGB fans and a hub for the fans so that's nice plus some cable management. Now the case itself cost $104.90 including tax compared to how much it normally cost ($129.99) but that's cos I'm getting used so that's why its that price plus its missing a PCIE SLOT COVER (a PCIE SLOT COVER is where the GPU ports are located I believe) so I'm going to inspect it in person and see if I should get it otherwise I might go with something like a black NZXT H5 Flow Tempered Glass Case(I don't know what fans I would need for that case so if you know please let me know just in case).
So I put down a 3 pack of Corsair fans with a hub because the total is $70 vs buying just the 3 fans for $72.57 so why not go cheaper plus I believe they are the same as the ones included with the case so it should be easy to setup but I'm not sure since this would be my fist build(I would need to change these if I need to change case to the NZXT so if you know which ones they are please let me know).
And Finally the power supply. So I went with 650w for $89.99 even though that isn't really future proof for a stronger GPU. I don't really know what power supplies would last me a long time and would work for something like a 3080, 3090, or 4000 series GPU in the future. I know I would need more power if I were to upgrade like a 750w, 850w PSU but I'm not really sure. If you could help me with recommendations for a low price but good quality PSU please let me know.
Ohh yeah and I picked the monitor for 1080p 165HZ which cost $127.96 since the monitor I have now is like 10 years old so I figured its time to upgrade(and I can use the old one as a second monitor).

 | Alright I'm back at it again, and this time with a big one! submitted by Fellow_RealSideOfMat to midnightsuns [link] [comments] Let's remind what I'll touch on in this post: A character concept, 10 cards (4 commons, 3 rares, 2 epic, 1 legendary) with their mechanics, one passive, alternate skins if I'm inspired, a place in the Abbey, and a small in-universe explanation for the character's inclusion. Won't touch on the relationship stuff. Well, luckily, the game gives him enough screentime to help me cook up a playstyle that would heavily differentiate the two. Johnny is portrayed in this game as unwilling, and someone who's actions are purely reactionaries, if nothing happens to him and his people, he won't do anything, but if anything does happen, he'll unleash hell on Earth. Let's roll with that and have him focus on protection and counter. But that's not all, Johnny is also a protector of the Parchment of Power as well as supposedly losing his status as a "Ghost RideSpirit of Vengeance". There's not enough detail to precisely determine what happened, but we know for sure that "Sparky" and Zarathos are not the same in this universe, even if "Sparky" became a spirit of vengeance instead of just being the spirit of a serial killer. Robbie also precise that the two demons are rivals. So I'll go with the theory that Johnny and Zarathos are still linked together, but are both weakened due to years of fending off countless demons, as well as the deterioration of Johnny's mental strength leading to a decrease in calling Zarathos out of fear for losing his mind, hence why he never transforms. If we roll with this, this means he's battling with the last of his strengths. And that's what I'm going to focus on. Since both share power sets, I'll have Johnny also use "Souls" as a mechanic. However, instead of being a gauge that fills up, similar to Venom, it would start full before decreasing over the fight. The more he has, the more HP like Robbie, but his would decrease over time as well as his attack stat. Also, since he has much more experience, instead of only having a stack of 4, he'd have 40 of them at the start. He'll also have two counters, when his legendary card is obtained: His basic one which would be a hellfire blast of his shotgun, and another which would be the "Penance Stare". This would make Johnny a reactionary character, focused on counter and protection, that can't afford to be too aggressive. Especially since some of the skills that would force him to push forward would render him vulnerable. Which can be navigating around by using the fact his only defense is a supply of "Resists". Cards: -Attack: -"I'm gonna whip your ass..." (Common): A simple attack where Johnny whips an enemy with his gun. Redrawing it adds a "Propulsion" thanks to the hellfire Doesn't consume any soul in its base form, but 1 in the redraw. Upgrading it adds a Quick effect. -"Blast your problems away..." (Common) By redrawing the card, you change it from a single target to a spray attack which hits multiple enemy thanks to Johnny's hellfire. The base attack only costs 1 soul, but the redrawn one costs 2. Upgrading it expands the zone and readies Johnny for a "Counter". -"Eat dirt..." (Rare): Johnny grabs an enemy by the head/torso and brutally bashes them on the ground before igniting his hand and creating a column of hellfire Zone damage around the selected enemy. However, it makes you lose 4 souls. Upgrading it expands the zone and the damage. -"Bonds with the Devil..." (Rare)-(Just the side effect of another card): He throws his chains made of hellfire for a forceful knockback but only towards himself, like Spiderman's "Special Delivery". If the enemy is brought to Johnny they'll get "Taunted" as well as some non-negligible damage. Only available when activating "Chained Together". Consumes 3 souls. Discarding them gives you 1 back. Upgrading "Chained Together" lets you get a free "Resist". Skill: -"For just a little longer..." (Common): Johnny hits his chest, small flames appearing over the position of his heart before disappearing. If he attacks this turn, his next card's soul consumption will be halved (or reduced to zero in case of the 1 soul cards) however, he'll get "Vulnerable" for the next turn. If he doesn't attack, and simply uses damageless/skill cards, he gains one "Resist" as well as a "Counter". It doesn't consume souls. Upgrading it adds "Strengthened" for Attack and "Taunt" for Skill. -"Chained together..." (Rare): Johnny grunts in pain as he forcefully calls on the weakened Zarathos to go come forth and lend him a bit of his power. This leads to Johnny's hair and mustache to light in hellfire as well as chains to appear wrapped around his arms. This gives Johnny a turn of "Counter" as well as 2 copies of the attack "Bonds with the Devil". At the end of the turn, he gets "Vulnerable". Upgrading it gives Johnny 6 souls back on activation. -"Look at me!" (Epic): By briefly setting his head aflame while yelling at the top of his lungs, the entire battlefield turns towards him in fear. "Taunt" "Counter" for 2 turns. It consumes 1 soul. Upgrading it adds two "Resists" and a third turn of "Counter". Heroic: -"I'm the holder of the parchment..." (Common) (5 hero points): For half of his remaining souls, Johnny reads the parchment and creates an area surrounded by flames with him as the center. Everybody can enter, but nobody can leave. Enemies will take damage when coming into contact with the flames no matter if it's in or out. The duration of the zone depends on how many souls are used in the ritual, with 10 at a minimum. Inside the zone Johnny's attacks consume one less soul. Upgrading it gives him a counter for as long as he's in the zone. -"Running away from Hell..." (Rare) (2 hero point) Johnny Blaze uses his bike to transport someone away from the battlefield, rendering them invulnerable but unable to act for the rest of the turn. (They can still act if they are a ranged character) If applied to self, it works but renders him vulnerable for the next turn. It also automatically makes him "Taunt" the entire battlefield. Consumes 15 souls. Upgrading it gives Johnny one free "Resist" and a "Counter". Unless applied to self, in that case he only gets the "Counter". -"No soul, but a will..." (Epic) (3 hero points): Fully replenishes Johnny's soul gauge and healthbar but gives him a three turn "Vulnerable". Upgrading it also gives Johnny a "Reinforcement". Exhaust -"Penance Stare!" (Legendary) (4 hero points): Johnny Blaze's counter becomes the iconic "Penance Stare" which makes him grab an enemy and force them to look into his eyes, with his head becoming half man and half skeleton, fire enveloping the two parts. This changes his counter property to have him inflict the exact damage that his enemies give/would have given him instead of simply attacking them with something else, it also grants him the ability to survive the entire turn without dying even at 1hp. However, the immortality is only granted the first time so careful as to not overuse it. On top of that, it cost ten souls right from the first activation and jumps higher in price each time by two. By upgrading it, the damage he inflicts back is doubled. Passive: -"Collected Souls": Each "Soul" will increase Johnny's total healthbar by 1% that will disappear if it's consumed. -"Collected Souls II": Same thing except he also gets 1% of shield, so 50% of his HP as shields when all souls are present. (However, he can't go over this total, which decreases over time encouraging the player to block as much as possible in the first few turns, and unlike the healthbar, the shield can't be replenished.) Alternate costumes: -Wrong One (Epic) : A joke costume that makes Johnny Blaze looks like Danny Ketch, so he can finally be in the game as well, would only change the bike if it was a Legendary one. -Midnight Sun (Legendary): No real idea for this one really. Maybe make his flames gold? -The Caretaker (Legendary): Both a nod to the Caretaker (Blood) from the comics and the one from the movie. That way him and Wolverine have a somewhat matching costume theme of "old cow-boys". His bike is obviously replaced by a flaming horse. -Younger Days (Legendary): Self-explanatory really. Either make it look like the comics or Nicolas Cage, or both... (Bike included with a more circus act look) He also has a pin or a picture plastered on his jacket/bike that represents Roxanne. (His wife) In the Abbey: Either at the training ground with Blade, in the forge for his hellfire bettering the rewards of Tony and Strange's draws, or allowing redraws. Lastly he could also be part of Peter and Robbie's crafting club. Story: After dying, he found himself in Mephisto's hell. His old arch-nemesis, both for himself and Zarathos. The demon basked in the glory of finally having Johnny in the palm of his hands to freely toy with. However, Johnny and Zarathos, despite being severely weakened, don't give up the fight, having been inspired by the prior events to fight until the bitter end instead of running away. (This level would serve, like Venom's, as a way to learn his mechanics, and how important countering and managing is for him.) After a few turns of struggles, Robbie and Hunter, having sensed that something abnormal was going on, voluntarily go to hell, hoping to retrieve Johnny. (Even if it's more of Robbie's will and Hunter is unsure of it.) They successfully manage to save him, and Johnny finally starts being somewhat pleasant with the two of them. Just before leaving hell though, Johnny, and only he, sees Sara's from above, who just nods before disappearing, followed by members of his carnival, making him smirk. "One day... one day I'll see you and them again... I love you Roxanne." So? What do you think? Did I succeed in making Johnny different enough from Robbie, which would justify his spot on the playable roster? |

I have been practicing the blues scale pretty regularly for the last few months and have gotten to be pretty consistent with hitting all of the notes and even getting it to a pretty decent speed, however while starting to learn a new song I am starting to worry that I have been drilling in a bad habit. While doing the scale, especially on the second and third string, when using my pinky to hit the higher notes I notice that my pinky is muting the string below it. So for example when I am using my pinky on the second string, it is somewhat flat and muting the first string. Now I never noticed this issue because I am hitting the note I am needing to hit, but I’m starting to learn a song that requires similar fingering and letting strings ring out and while I have my pinky on the second or third string and need to go up and pluck the string above it, it is being muted. I’ve started to fix my finger positioning for this particular song but when going back and trying to play the blues scale and making sure my pinky isn’t muting the string above it I am having an incredibly difficult time doing so.
So my question is, am I overthinking this finger position thing? Is it proper form when playing something like a scale to ensure that only the very tip of your pinky is touching the string to ensure no muting happens? I am watching YouTube videos of people playing scales and its really hard to tell if they are getting the pinky to not mute the string above it, and they never really mention how that finger should be positioned. Is it worth going back and starting from square one with that scale and drilling it into my muscle memory to not let the pinky touch the string below it since realistically it doesn’t matter for the scale if that string is muted while I’m not playing it? I don’t want to develop bad habits that are harder to break but I also don’t want to worry about something that isn’t really practical.
