I and a friend have created a new interface for creating bots. The primary field is social media -- it's an easy way to create a Discord or Steam or IRC bot, or even a bot that bridges between formats. This is a bedroom startup, so we don't have a lot of resources.
We need some beta testers. How can we find them? Is there a sub where I could post a request? Is there some other forum off of Reddit? Is there a Discord/Steam/IRC server where this would be appropriate?

For me, it was language. Reading, writing, communicating. I have pretty early memories in life (like, before I could walk even) and I remember thinking in words before I could speak. Not like, eloquently, but more than I think people expect of kids that young. And by the time I was 13, I was the top contributor on a lot of forums where people thought I was an adult because I could communicate well. (I put a lot of emphasis on typing 'properly' back then, unlike now lol...)
In general, if I had to choose something that I excelled at, it would be language in general, or like... analysis in general. I'm pretty quick at figuring people out, and media, but I think that's more related to the way I pick up on and think about what people (and shows/videos/books) are communicating and what it means.

Wait...Apple Tarts is back!? While EGG TART (Chie Koishikawa & Hagane Shinno) are one of the most popular teams in the promotion, Apple Prodigy & Season 17 MVP Mei Suruga tends to usually be Shinnoâs gobliny antagonist. Hagane is the Cold Killer, a brutal heavy striker and fierce technician (he innovated the Ranhei, which is used by a ton of people now!) that will certainly make the opposing veterans fear the winter. Very few have brought Hagane down in ChocoPro (he is undefeated in Singles...and now the Super Asia Champion!), and his intense aura will be on full display in this bout...also those low kicks, which Mei absolutely hates! It will be interesting to see how the Handsome Devil works with the other Devil of Ichigaya: Known goblin, Pin Specialist, and Submission wizard Mei Suruga! (Mei tends to team with Super Asia Champs!) She will be giving him a run for his money in the cruelty department. âWhat is this?â
ChocoPro is a free online promotion run by AEW's Emi Sakura, that takes place in the legendary Ichigaya Chocolate Square! It features a steady pace of live Episode releases, fan interaction, season long story arcs, and much more! A place where the turnbuckles are replaced with 14th floor windows, the ropes are often replaced with fans, unforgiving walls provide creative avenues for skills otherwise unthinkable, and you can take solace in knowing that the referees usually do nothing. While it might be a shocking change at first, the intensity and storytelling will leave you wanting more.âWhy are they fighting in ____?â
Short answer is that it is a cost effective, unique venue with a better availability schedule and allows the roster access for training. Emi Sakura has been using this place for a long time, and you might be surprised at some of the names that have used it (even outside of ChocoPro!). There are a few in-ring Episodes and Gatoh Move has in ring shows with crowds on the YouTube channel. Think of it like the Hart Dungeon but as a promotion, if that helps!âWhat are the rules?â
While special match stipulations will usually be explained before the respective matches, the general rules of ChocoPro are simple. Pins only count on the Chocolate Mat and are not broken by the edge or Wall. Submissions usually only count on the Chocolate Mat, and ARE broken by reaching the edge or wall (sometimes ceiling...). Double pins and Double submissions are legal (and encouraged) in ChocoPro Tag matches, meaning cohesive teams will always have the advantage! Count Outs only exist if specified, since many matches stray from the comfort of the Chocolate Square into the streets (and the rest of the building itself!) There is a Time Limit for each bout (based on card placement and importance) and the Referee has discretion (even if they tend to do nothing most of the time!). Every Ref is different, some have different levels of bias and speed.âHow can I support them?â

So alas here i am on AM. I am a long time Apple user so i am not new to their ecosystem or devices.
However I did have some questions:
1 - What does the Love vs Add To library buttons do? I assume Love is something for your recommendations whereas library literally adds it to the library? 2- Are there any official apps outside of iTunes for it to be played on my desktop on Windows (outside of the media player?) 3- Any good and tried suggestions on getting playlists over from Spotify to AM? 4- Can I bring recommendations over from Spotify? 5- Any good tips/tricks/etc for me?thanks

Some time ago, I saw some people talking about 'AMLF', and wanting to make a sub for the pairing. I think they were also discussing using the hashtag more. But it made me wonder...is there truly a need for it? Which leads me to this post. I believe as time passes, we should be using these terms LESS, not more. AMXF - outside of certain spaces where they can be useful and convenient acronyms for discussion, I would rather that Asian men dating any race was normalized to the point where it's not some novelty to gaze at like something extraordinary.
This post will focus on 'AMWF' since that's the most commonly used term. The irony of me sharing my opinion on why this hashtag should be used less often in a sub literally called AMWFs is not lost on me. But let me explain.
I once read this blog written by a woman married to a Korean man about the AMWF label, and there were some really great points made about it:
It's been noted many times that 'AMWF' appeared to be trending stronger on social media than 'WMAF', and it's often praised as some win. I don't think so, and this is misleading. "WMAF" is barely a trending hashtag because they don't need it. It's normalized. Almost no other type of interracial couple even needs a keyword, maybe some will use an "interracial" hashtag sometimes, but I think "AMWF" unnecessarily draws attention to the fact that it's - gasp - an Asian dude dating a WF holy shit, look at those! what a sight, right? The ultimate goal should be to normalize AMWF. Comments all around social media Iv'e seen, even for the most random couples that happens to be some Asian guy dating a white woman "ooooh AMWF in the wild" "bro is winning" make me cringe so much. Drawing so much attention to the fact that an Asian man is - gasp - dating a non-Asian woman, making such a huge deal about it, does not really normalize it, that shit is counterproductive. As one friend who's dating a WF once told me, the endgame should not be for every people in an AMWF relationship to end up on some random AMWF facebook page lmao, the endgame is for AMWF couples to be widely accepted in society at large, not to be ostracized or have to retreat into smaller circles shunned by others.
And it's not like it's such a new phenomenon. Contrary to popular belief, historically it has never been that rare, I'd argue that more than anything it has been grossly underrepresented. I'm not claiming that these couples are everywhere on the streets and in the media or whatever, of that there hasn't been an increase these days ofc, but you get what I mean.
"but it's just a hashtag/ term?" It's not just a hashtag, not just the terms, the problem is ultimately deeper than that. This one guy (who was acting cringe as fuck and didn't even realize it) shared about how he saw some Asian male&white female couple at a bus stop, and he openly said "yo, big ups" or something like that. He couldn't even just keep it in his head or say to himself privately "oh that's nice", he had to go full cringe. This is just an example of the many times I have seen a guy do something dumb like that. Say stupid comments like that. It's one thing to bring up race for channels and videos very explicitly about AMXF, but I see too much of it in other places (both online and irl) where it really isn't needed.
The problem, what it comes down to more or less is this, when you do all this shit I talked about and described, you are subcommunicating that Asian men dating out, that a non-Asian woman wanting to have sex with an Asian man and date him (having sex and dating are normal human things), is unusual, or as extraordinary as winning the world cup.
My favorite 'AMWF' couples on social media are the ones who don't use any of these hashtags or terms, not even "interracial dating". Of course every now and then they might talk about some Asian cuisine or aspects of the partner's culture, but otherwise they're usually way more....I hate to say it but, normal? They're less likely to engage in these unfunny and often stereotyping prank or trendy videos, their race is not the main point of their content, and their followers tend to be way more level-headed and less cringe too. They see each other as individuals and don't make a race-based remark on every little thing they do.

I know labels like AMWF seem quite innocent, but as couples who come under this broad category, we also have a responsibility to think critically about what these labels say about us and whether we are okay with that. It can be very uncomfortable to have someone challenge a term we have latched onto, especially because I am sure most people donât have any ill intent in using such tags.

But consider that in the Americas, there's a growing number of AMLF, and there's already been a notable number of these couples. Many Asian guys report seeing a high number of Latinas open to them on dating apps and in person. Hell, there's even celebs like who are married to an Asian man. And you know what? I rarely see most of these couples using that hashtag or making a giant deal out of the fact that they're a pair. I'm quite excited though with some reservations about the narrative consequences of March of the Machine. Any set where the make a dedicated set afterwards just to clean up the details promises to be monumental. And what with them saying that "both the game and the universe will never be the same" clearly they're swinging for the fences. But I wanted to lay down some ideas that I have for what exactly I think is coming.
Elesh Norn is trying to become a God
This one is essentially a fact at this point so I barely count it. She's trying to model herself after the Father of Machines Yawgmoth so Godhood is the natural next step. The "Triumph of the Fleshless" story clearly shows that she has special plans for Theros as well as a unique fear of Elspeth since she's the one who actually had a God-Killing blade. And of the art we have of the Collector Booster Display shows her with that weapon. I had speculated this for a while, mostly as a joke because I found it funny the idea that there would be a card with the type line: Legendary Artifact Enchantment Creature - Phyrexian Praetor God. Still holding out for that.
Elspeth will kill Elesh Norn after or just before she becomes a God
Or imprison her. Either is equally likely in my opinion. Magic story-lines all really love setting up the villain to have almost won only to be toppled in the last instant by a plucky unexpected hero. And hey, I do too.
Quintorius and Thalia will become planeswalkers, among others
Quint already happened in "A Radiant Heart" but considering the box art for the Set Booster Display, I can't imagine that they would put two planeswalkers and one other creature on it. I say "among others" because I think they're gonna cull the herd of planeswalkers they've accrued up to this point. Either Phyrexianize them or kill them off or both, like with Lukka and Tamiyo. They may also change the nature of the planeswalker spark, but I don't think that's what they're planning on changing. I'll circle back to that point later. But first, speaking of Tamiyo...
Emrakul's back!
I've been saying this since they mentioned a Phyrexian invasion of the Multiverse and I'm amazed I haven't seen anyone else saying anything. I have a few reasons to think it. One: in "Mother, Son, and Story" it's revealed that Tamiyo had a failsafe scroll in the event of her death.
And one last point. Emrakul's whole shtick is that she doesn't affect inorganic matter, she only corrupts living things. Plants, werewolves, people, all that stuff. What Elesh Norn's deal is that she finds flesh and the creatures full of it as nothing short of heretical. What better set of villains to set against one another then a flesh-lover and a flesh-hater? Inside you there are two wolves...
The theme is "unlikely allies"
This is a theme they briefly toyed with in War of the Spark with the Bond cycle, but I think it's gonna be the undercurrent of a lot more of the cards. Obviously all of the Legendary duos are gonna be the most obvious example of this. And I think they have some narrative fun to them. Here's some spitballs for cards I'm expecting.
Last but not least, the big change to the Magic-verse?
The Planes will be physically connected
I really truly hope this isn't the case but it feels like the way that the narrative is going. They stop the Realmbreaker, kill the Phyrexian Praetors, kill or cure most of the Phyrexian walkers (another thing I'm not looking forward to cause I would prefer the dead stay dead instead of some magic hand-wavey cure-all [looking at you Jace, you edgelord]) but the wreckage of the realmbreaker leaves the planes with portals leading between them. It makes the world far more boring in my opinion since it lets the aesthetics of other planes seep into each other or the rules of those worlds as in the case of Theros. It also makes Planeswalkers less special so hopefully this is not what actually happens.
Oh and one last little extra bit...
Nicol Bolas is back and probably Phyrexianized (either that or joins the fight against them and gets away)

Many years ago, she created me in anticipation of her death and sealed me away within a scroll until I was needed, bound with an iron ring." Tamiyo's memoryâher storyâpauses. "I had hoped I might never be."This isn't quite Tamiyo, but a copy of her essence tucked away in a scroll for safe keeping until needed. Now this scroll is only ever described as "a scroll bound with an iron band." But this is not the first time that scroll has been mentioned. In "The Promised End," when Nissa and Tamiyo bound Emrakul in the moon of Innistrad, they almost failed until Tamiyo pulled out "a long scroll, a scroll with iron bands" and used it to power the spell. Later when Jace asks her about it, she reveals that Emrakul was puppetting her and altering the scroll's spell, making it into something else.
"But that wasn't the worst part. The scroll I opened. The second one. You were right. I shouldn't have opened it. A promise made long ago, which one day I'll have to answer for. But the spell she read...it wasn't the original spell. The scroll she used, it cast...a different spell."Now it's possible this was a different scroll all together, but I don't think it is. Having one character have two items with almost identical descriptors do two different things is bad form for a story. So, odds are Emrakul or something like her will be showing up in similar circumstances. The other narrative reason is something Emrakul says to Jace in his mind palace, or rather Jace's limited perception of Emrakul.
"This is all wrong. I am incomplete, unfulfilled, inchoate. There should be blossoms, not barren resentment. The soil was not receptive. It is not my time. Not yet."What Emrakul seems to be implying is that she expected the people her to be happy and calling her name, not struggling and trying to free themselves. And what better time to call to the horrors you know than when facing the horrors you don't?

- Norika and Heiko - The Sisters Yamazaki!
- Yisan and Jalira - This one seems more mechanical fun than narrative
- Anowon and Kazuul - I hope its actually Kazuul and Iona, but that seems a little too silly
- Grumgully and Emry - Silly, but plausible enough
- Chevill and some monster - hopefully something that will shave his pornstache
- Tromokratis and Polukranos - Okay, I'll stop

does anyone still remember those vids? i do, and i loved them, so out of sheer innocence and with no idea whats destined to happen, using ssyoutube, i downloaded a lot of them! because i loved them so much, i wanted to have them with me even when the internet didn't work!
now, i know that sounds like the perfect situation, but all of this actually happened, and i was shocked to find out the videos have been privated from YouTube just as many of the people who watched the videos did.
for those who are unaware, the videos in question can only be described as: "PowerPoint presentations of old Lego sets with cool music" and the music was kind of the reason why i liked the videos so much, they introduced me to rammstein and Juno reactor, who i probably would never find about if it wasn't for those videos. that's why they were so important to me and many others.

As the moderator, I thereafter posted a poll to give the community an opportunity to provide input about what was important to see here. The poll was posted for seven days, the maximum time allowed for a poll to be posted.
69% of respondents said they would like "A pinned list of support groups from authoritative PH advocacy groups." Users could only select one option from the poll. The 2nd place choices came in at 13% - two formal votes for "I want a mod with PH to be active in this community" selection and two comments voicing support for "I want a list of PH organizations ... " Yes, I counted comments in the feedback ;-). There were 13 formal votes. The poll accumulated hundreds of views when it closed.
As a moderator, I am not explicitly endorsing any PH resource, though I acknowledge that listing any group is an implicit endorsement. This list is not set in stone - please help to keep it as useful and current as possible by messaging me directly with feedback or leaving comments for others to read and use to make their own informed decisions.

I (24 Male) was never the most confident individual growing up. From being bullied and in general, life Iâve always been really insecure about the way I look. As an Adult, Iâve taken steps to better myself. I go to the Gym regularly, eat healthily, have hobbies, and made great friends. I feel like Iâm getting my life together and itâs on the up and up, however, when Iâm browsing through social media it appears all I have are undesirable qualities.
1: Iâm Short. Iâve always been the short kid/guy in every friend group. It doesnât bother me too much; I play along sometimes and call myself a Hobbit. I have thick curly hair, and big feet, and LOVE food. I match the description. LOL. 1: Iâm Short. Iâve always been the short kid/guy in every friend group. It doesnât bother me too much; I play along sometimes and call myself a Hobbit. I have thick curly hair, and big feet, and LOVE food. I match the description. LOL. Unfortunately, standing at a whopping 5â6â Iâm not tall enough to be âdateable.â (Even some of my IRL friends tell me that they would date a man under 5â8â)
2: Iâm Bisexual. Ah yes, the attraction to Men and Women but canât hook either one. The way we consume media has changed.
We used to be at the mercy of broadcasters and their scheduling of airing dates and time slots. Now, with the ever swifter rise of streaming platforms, we have the means to choose our own time and pacing.
Netflix was the first major platform that enabled binging behaviour. While the streaming service didn't invent it - people were binging their VHS recordings and other purchased media after all- it wasn't as common, as recording took effort reserved for special shows and purchasing media could get rather expensive. Not to mention that it often took some time from airing to physical release. Most anime are still largely aired on a week-by-week basis even as streaming gets more prevalent.
There are people who enjoy full series releases. There is no wait time and they can enjoy the whole experience at their own time and pace.
However, weekly releases have several unique aspects that full releases can't replicate.
With full releases it gets a tad dodgy. There are the bingers who breathe in the whole series in one frantic, eye watering rush, and there are people who choose a slower pace as the whole length of a series is harder to consume at once. You're inherently getting big discrepancies and need to check more if people are up to date.
When looking at full releases with separated episodes, it's mostly the first and the last thread that get properly filled up. All threads in between have a lot less engagement. There is little time for real discussion to happen outside the final episode thread, as people move on quickly.
Even worse: due to the knowledge, there are popcorn poopers who go back to previous episode threads to spoil the few people commenting in there. A problem not unique to, but more prevalent with full releases, as all episode threads are relevant at the same time, instead of older episode threads sinking outside the view of most after a week has passed.
This cuts into healthy discussion and speculation. Now, being in an anime subreddit where a lot of shows are directly adapted from manga and light novels, source readers are already dangerous in their hints and nudges, add to that people who have already seen the show you are in the middle of watching.
With weekly releases there is much more discussion going on, much more speculation of what could be and what will be. People point out details that will only be proven as important later on.
The same can be said for watch experiences. Rushing through a whole series can dull the experience, because there is no time to work through moments. Cliffhangers get less effective. Yes, they make you watch the next episode, but tension is then often quickly lost. This goes in particular for huge twists and events that turn the series around. Everybody has surely experienced a series that left them on edge for a while, made them jump up and scream at the television to deliver an answer and go on internet forums to see if any of the crack theories make sense.
When I name Animegataris, Samurai Flamenco or Yuuki Yuuna the people who have seen them as they aired will know what I mean, and there are countless examples more.
The viewer can't just continue if there is nothing to continue. They are put on a forced break that enables them to let the experience sink in and ponder about the answers to the pressing questions. There is more engagement with the show as they think about it in small chunks over a long amount of time. There is little space for that when rushing through a series, not leaving time for oneself to think about each episode.

Time to let it sink in
Good action scenes are pretty nice. Emotional pain is a good storytelling tool. But those at none-stop get exhausting and dull the experience. That's why action needs moments of calm to contrast the action, that's why darkness needs some light.The same can be said for watch experiences.
