So I hit a parked car with a rental van and did some minor damage. No one was hurt but, because it’s a rental, I have to file a police report for the insurance. It’s been almost two hours since I called 110 and there’s been zero sign of the police. How long is it normal to wait? What do I do if they don’t show up?

I'm looking for a used car in the 14k range; I'll pay cash. I want a manual for sure. I'm primarily interested in a Mazda 3 hatch, but am also considering a base Focus ST or a Fiesta ST (not the base Fiesta). I've never actually driven a Fiesta ST, and there's none near me, though a couple within 100 miles at decent prices. I'm busy with work so don't have a lot of time to just check them out. My use case is mostly grocery getting and taking the kid to school (20 mins/day) and to riding lessons an hour away once a week. I live in central NY and it's hilly and snowy but I'm fine with good all season tires, I"ve done it all my life. I don't need much room, and we have a comfortable car for road trips. So my question is whether it's worth looking at a Fiesta ST or if it's one of those, "if you don't know, it's not for you" type of situations. I'm not looking for luxury, but I also don't want to be grimacing every time I'm not speeding around a corner.

Hi all! I just booked my flights to visit Ireland in June and although I feel so incredibly grateful to have as much time as I do to visit Éire, I'm worried it's not enough, or that I'll be rushing around to see everything in our itinerary. I'm from the US and this is also my first international travel experience.
For context, we will be be leaving June 7th and will fly back to the states on June 18th. We will have the 8th-17th! We plan on getting a rental car and road tripping it!
I'm currently most worried about days 5-8 (see itinerary below) where we'll likely be in Killarney, at the Cliffs of Moher, or in Galway. I'm concerned about the time it takes to complete the Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher, and also how much time should be spent in Galway since I'd also love to do Kylemore Abbey and Downpatrick Head, which is a decent drive away.
If anybody has a better sense on the time it will take to do some of the things on our itinerary, or to give insight into whether it's realistic, that would be amazing!!

I come here as a bit of despair... We found some moisture on the driver's side last fall, mostly on the back seat's feet but seems to be coming from directly under the driver's seat (there is a small box with wires there). The general moisture level inside the car is made totally insane, all windows are completely fogged in whenever the car is left parked overnight, and it can come to the point that water is dripping from the windows when it happens (without raining). since i live in a northern country, the entire inside windows are also deep frozen every morning in winter.
So we mentioned it when we went to the service, they didnt have time to deal with it then, so we tried to dry and clean manually as good as possible. it kept coming back worst so we had an appointment in february; they found a leak in the door, fixed it and checked all doors to make sure. then told us to keep the car in a garage with warmth overnight to dry it (avoid paying hundreds just for them having it at their garage). So we kept it 4 days inside a friend's garage, windows open, with a radiator inside the car (we came inbetween to move the radiator to really dry everywhere) to dry it. came back on monday, checked all, it was dry... for a few days. then less than a week later, super wet under my seat, windows all fogged in (and frozen again when it got cold enough). We called the garage, no clue, they gotta google it and call us back. after 2 weeks without feedback, we called again, they gave an appointment to check. They said they found no leaks anymore, so it might just have not been 100% dry the first time and it just spread back, so they'll dismantle stuffs, keep it in all night with radiators to dry, and thats it. we come back to get the car back yesterday, ... and the front window is all fogged in, i check under my seat, its just as wet than when we left the car. So we just talked with the guy still there (it was after hours), he doesnt know about the case but just gave us back the keys of the rental, took back my key and bill, and said he'll talk with colleagues the next (aka today). We called them a few hours ago and they said it might just not have been 100% dry (huh?) and they'll leave it inside to dry all weekend (no clue if they'll open the inside to optimize the process this time). So now we have to wait next week if its dry after they dry it.
I mentionned to them several times that the moisture does not feel like water, it has a chemical smell (reminds me of windshield cleaner, wich smells ALOT inside the car when i spray in the back window), and gives a burn/overdry sensation on the fingers after a few seconds, but they keep focusing on an external source of leakage. they checked if it could be a leakage on the windshield cleaner after i asked, and they also checked if the AC drain could be clogged after i asked, but that both of them are on the passenger side on my car so it cannot be that.
Has anyone ever had a similar problem? I really start to feel crazy, they are doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Maybe i just need an external point of view cuz it goes without saying im highly annoyed at this xD. (the garage is 1h of drive of where i live, + back. its the closest Suzuki official garage)

I found a used car that I like but the CarFax is incomplete, orginally the car was a lease but then Avis bought it with 19k miles on it in March of 2022 and turned it into a rental car. Now the car has 31k miles and they're selling it. The CarFax however only shows the car up until Avis bought it so according to the CarFax the car only has 19k miles.
I've emailed with Avis and confirmed it hasn't been in any kind of accidents or been in any kind of water. I haven't ever seen w CarFax with a discrepancy like this so I'm curious of anyone here knows if this is common or if this is a giant red flag.

I’m headed to Aruba in a week and was looking to book some activities (submarine tour, atv tour, etc) in the Chase portal with my CSR. I can’t find anything about whether or not it earns 3x or 5x when booked through the portal.
Chase’s website says “Earn 5x total points on flights and 10x total points on hotels and car rentals when you purchase travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards” but doesn’t say anything about activities, cruises, etc
My assumption is 5x? Anyone have any experience with this?
