2023.03.31 08:32 Bugscare123 Is my burn healing or infected?

36F I burned myself with hot water 12 days ago on my chest. I already went to a burn clinic a day after the accident and have a follow up tomorrow. I want to cancel but some of the areas of the burn underneath the dead skin looks questionable to me. Does the burn look to be healing well? I’m posting a pic in the comments.

2023.03.31 08:24 _AtomsForPeace_ CDC Alert: Adderall Shortage Due to High Post-Lockdown Usage March 31, 2023

Direct CDC Article link: Trends in Stimulant Prescription Fills Among Commercially Insured Children and Adults — United States, 2016–2021
Summary
What is already known about this topic?
Prescriptions for stimulants, primarily used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), were increasing for adults before the COVID-19 pandemic. Policies enacted during the pandemic expanded access to prescription stimulants via telehealth.
What is added by this report?
The percentage of adolescent and adult females and adult males receiving prescription stimulant fills increased during 2016–2021, particularly during 2020–2021.
What are the implications for public health practice?
Growing recognition of ADHD in adults and increases in prescription stimulant fills raise questions about current adult ADHD care. Development of clinical recommendations for diagnosing and managing adult ADHD could help guide safe and appropriate stimulant prescribing. Evaluation of policies enacted during the pandemic could identify benefits and harms of those policies.
Prescription stimulant use, primarily for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), has increased among adults in the United States during recent decades, while remaining stable or declining among children and adolescents (1,2). MarketScan commercial claims data were analyzed to describe trends in prescription stimulant fills before and during the COVID-19 pandemic (2016–2021) by calculating annual percentages of enrollees aged 5–64 years in employer-sponsored health plans who had one or more prescription stimulant fills overall and by sex and age group. Overall, the percentage of enrollees with one or more prescription stimulant fills increased from 3.6% in 2016 to 4.1% in 2021. The percentages of females aged 15–44 years and males aged 25–44 years with prescription stimulant fills increased by more than 10% during 2020–2021. Future evaluation could determine if policy and health system reimbursement changes enacted during the pandemic contributed to the increase in stimulant prescriptions. Stimulants can offer substantial benefits for persons with ADHD, but also pose potential harms, including adverse effects, medication interactions, diversion and misuse, and overdoses. Well-established clinical guidelines exist for ADHD care, but only for children and adolescents* (3); clinical practice guidelines for adult ADHD could help adults also receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment.
CDC analyzed claims data from the Merative MarketScan Commercial Database, a national convenience sample of deidentified health care claims from enrollees in employer-sponsored insurance plans. CDC accessed 2016–2021 MarketScan data using Treatment Pathways 4.0, an online analytic platform that includes plans with complete data on prescription drug fills, to calculate the annual percentages of persons continuously enrolled throughout the calendar year with one or more prescription stimulant† fills. All prescription stimulants were included in the analyses, regardless of whether the enrollee had any claims with an ADHD diagnosis code present. Percentages and annual percent change (APC) were calculated for enrollees aged 5–64 years overall and by sex and age group; primary results were calculated by 5-year age groups, but some results were summarized by wider age groups to describe broader patterns. Among persons with one or more prescription stimulant fills during the calendar year, the mean number of prescription stimulant fills during that year and the percentage of persons who met a case definition for receipt of care for ADHD§ were calculated. Statistical testing was not performed because the size of the MarketScan database often results in significant p-values that are not clinically meaningful. All point estimates are presented, and changes >10% are highlighted. This activity was reviewed by CDC and was conducted consistent with applicable federal law and CDC policy.¶
Across all years, the percentages of male and female enrollees with one or more prescription stimulant fills were highest among those aged 5–19 and 15–24 years, respectively. Overall, the percentage of enrollees with prescription stimulant fills increased from 3.6% in 2016 to 4.1% in 2021, with percentages and APC varying by sex and age (Table) (Figure 1) (Figure 2). During 2016–2020, percentages remained stable or decreased among females aged ≤24 years (average APC range = −1.8% to 0.1%) and increased modestly among those aged 25–64 years (average APC range = 2.3% to 6.6%). However, during 2020–2021, the percentage of females with one or more prescription stimulant fills increased substantially among most age groups, with the largest changes among those aged 15–44 and 50–54 years (APC range = 14.3% to 19.2%).
During 2016–2020, the pattern among males was similar to that among comparably aged females: the percentage with prescription stimulant fills decreased slightly among those aged ≤24 years (average APC range = –3.8% to –1.7%) and remained stable or increased modestly among those aged ≥25 years (average APC range = 0% to 6.5%). During 2020–2021, the percentage of males with prescription fills decreased among those aged ≤19 years and increased substantially among those aged 25–44 years and 50–54 years (APC range = 11.1% to 14.7%).
Among persons with one or more prescription stimulant fills, the annual mean number of fills ranged from 7.4 to 7.6 (Supplementary Table 1, https://stacks.cdc.gov/view/cdc/125800). Most persons aged 5–19 years (≥75%) and adults aged 20–64 years (53%–77%) with one or more prescription stimulant fills met the case definition for receipt of ADHD care in the preceding or current calendar year; these percentages were relatively stable during the study period (Supplementary Table 2, https://stacks.cdc.gov/view/cdc/125800).

Many non-invasive facial treatments are currently popular in our society, but the Hydra facial in delhi treatment sticks out among them all. This medical procedure is one of the least popular and most widely accepted in the entire globe. In Delhi, we hold conferences where HydraFacial treatments are available. People in the society we currently live in favour emotional aesthetics and beauty more than anything else. What is the HydraFacial procedure? Where can I get a fashionable HydraFacial? A medically focused skin treatment called a "HydraFacial" draws and unclogs clogged pores to resurface your skin while also hydrating it. 2023.03.31 08:24 christinastelly My Dad received the PC diagnosis

We received the news after 3 biopsies and 35 days of waiting that my dad has PC.
I tried to be prepared. You all have helped me prepare. I want to say thank you.
We have our list of specialists from PanCan and we are ready to start calling for a specialist. What happens now? A PET scan or CT scan? How long did you wait to see a specialist?
Also, I’m in CA and they are in OK. How did you help if you lived far away? I am a resident as a Nurse Practitioner. I don’t think I qualify for FMLA so I could only take a leave. S it selfish to want my mom and dad to leave OK and start care at UCSF. He wants to go to OU.
Financially, were you on Medicare? What kind of financial support will he need?
Thank you again. To say I’m scared is an understatement. Trying to take this minute by minute.

I was circumcised low and medium tight (10mm inner foreskin) and removed frenulum at 17. I'm 24 now and have a consultation at a private clinic coming up, and I want a low and tight cut with removal of ALL inner foreskin left, and make it as tight as possible.
I want to focus more on pleasuring my partner, and want to have a struggle in reaching orgasm. I even want my partner to laugh, tease and humiliate me a little because how I can't reach orgasm. Any thoughts or recommendation? Thanks :)

2023.03.31 08:18 Meditating_mediator Advice for applying MD, PhD or MD/PhD

bg:
4th year at a T10
Transferred from t40
GPA: ~3.92, sGPA:~3.90
MCAT: taking in Dec
Clinical: - hospital + nursing home volunteer: 80 hrs - free clinic volunteer trips: 25 hrs - shadowing oversee at rural hospital: 80 hrs - Patient interaction through research: 70 hrs
Expected over the two glide years, hopefully this would be enough.. - 500 hrs per year patient interaction in a research setting - 350 hrs per year free clinic triage - 50 hrs shadowing
Lots of leadership & teaching experiences >2000 hrs
Research - 500 hours in a applied math/ theoretical biology lab; poster presentation at college undergrad conference - Realized I didn’t like theoretical research as much and started my current lab in Mar 2021 - ~1000 hrs doing human cognitive neuroscience research; four poster presentations, one at international conference; one first-authored abstract, one second-authored. Currently writing a thesis for this project
Current gap year plan: 2 years as a research study coordinatoassistant at a basic science/translational research lab in neurology - reasons: 1) I know this PI (who’s friend and close colleague of my current PI) and the lab culture well; 2) I will be staying in the same area/hospital and receive continuous mentorship from my current PI; 3) I need more clinical experience and this job can help with that; 4) really love the research topics in the lab; 5) some built in protected independent research time - I applied to NIH IRTA a little late in the cycle and got a verbal yes from a PI, but I had to respond to my job offer before the formal acceptance from NIH
Expected hours over the two glide years: - ~1500 hrs per year of research in this lab; will potentially get some sort of authorship - Probably start preparing manuscripts for work done in previous lab
I was thinking of strictly applying for MD to maximize my chances until more recently. I’ve been told very different advice from MDs, who said I can do research with MD degree and can apply to PhD after if I really want to, and PhDs who encouraged me to do both degrees. I’ve been asking myself questions and what viscerally feels more right. I believe I enjoy research a little more than patient care, and I can see myself more as a medical researcher with some patient care than just as a physician for >80% of the time. I still need to acquire more shadowing experiences in the US tho..
Concerns & questions - I was told that my gap year job does not have enough research time built in as research tech positions would, and I really need to dedicate more times outside of work, which is fine by me. Would my hours be sufficient for MD/PhD in this case? Should I immediately search for other jobs if I’m planning on applying for MD/PhD? (really don’t want to bail on this) - I know I want to do cog neuro research and I have no wet lab experiences. Would this be a disadvantage for applying for MD/PhD in neuroscience? - I have some complicated situations with my permanent residency, and I can’t afford the risk of taking too many gap years before entering med/grad schools. Would I be better off just apply MD and have a higher chance of admission in the 2024 cycle?
Thank you so much for reading & helping out! I know this is quite a long post as I have been pondering on these questions for a while.

2023.03.31 08:18 stephygrl DSP advice - unusual predicament

Sorry about another DSP post but my situation is quite unique so I couldn’t find advice that directly applied to me. I’m going to try and summarise the last 3 years of my life is as best I can.
Prior to June 2020 I was a young, happy and fairly healthy person in my late 20’s working full time as a teacher (and loving it). I ended up getting a stomach infection called helicobacter pylori (which I’d had before) and needed antibiotics to treat it. At that time I had believed I was allergic to penicillin so part of the treatment involved flagyl a very strong antibiotic in its place. I took the antibiotics as prescribed for 7 days and basically over that 7 days my entire life imploded.
The first symptoms started whilst still taking the medication: migraine with aura, pins and needles in extremities, foggy feeling, anxiety, insomnia mostly. I called the doctor on day 7 knowing something really wasn’t right and she advised me to cease the medication immediately.
Over the next week instead of things improving they worsened. My vision went blurry, I couldn’t drive, I couldn’t regulate my body temperature, I had migraines, I couldn’t sleep properly and during the night I woke up in complete terror feeling like someone was drilling into my skull.
Terrified, I presented to the ED where I was basically just treated for a migraine despite the numerous times I told them I had a lot of symptoms and it was only since taking the medication. I was given an anti psychotic medication used to treat migraines through an IV. My BP ended up dropping very low and I started to feel what I can only describe as these feelings of doom and dread. I ended up fainting trying to get to the toilet and shaking, when I came to I had urinated myself.
The next night after coming home from the hospital the psychiatric symptoms from hell began. Things I don’t even have words for. A very deep and intense feeling of doom and dread came over me, a feeling so intense it felt like I was about to be murdered. I could not calm myself down. By the next day I was in full blown physical terror. I had non stop adrenaline rushes, sound sensitivity, light sensitivity, the feelings of colours looking ‘wrong’, I was met with sheer panic trying to simply go for a walk, I was met with doom simply being in my own lounge room, I suddenly lacked the cognitive faculties to make breakfast, I couldn’t be alone and I could not stop crying. I’ve never been more terrified in my life.
I’m going to speed up over the next part of the story but basically doctors didn’t do much, didn’t really acknowledge what was happening to me and treated me with more drugs. It was not until I looked online that I found resources and an online community suffering something called flagyl toxicity; all with matching symptoms to mine. I was prescribed an SSRI which made me worse (gave me insomnia and a agitation on top of the other symptoms), I was then given STILNOX which didn’t work and then put on nightly Ativan and intermittent Valium. I was a shell of my former self and eventually had to leave my job 4 months later as we transitioned from online learning back to school.
After continuing to decline and not understanding why 10 months later I stumbled on a forum discussing the dangers of being on benzodiazepines long term. It clicked that the benzos I had been prescribed had been making me sicker and sicker. By this time, I was scared of lights, faces, sounds and leaving the house. The doctor was pretty clueless about getting me off slowly and safely, but worked in conjunction with me to create a taper plan, using an online manual written by professor Ashton, a gov organisation called reconnexion and a compounding pharmacy I tapered off over three months.
I wish I could say that was it and things got better but they haven’t yet. There is a community full of people suffering from harm caused by medications, specifically an epidemic of people harmed by benzos. But this is not recognised and there isn’t much help, support or acknowledgement. There is no set time frame to healing. I want to believe I still can heal. I am young, have a career and everything to live for. I am just waiting.
I have been off all meds since June 2021. I had to take a very big dose of antibiotics last year to get rid of that h pylori infection once and for all, but it really set me back as my nervous system is very fragile now - a common theme in the benzo recovery community.
Since my setback I actually became anaemic and had to have an iron transfusion, I’ve also developed PMDD and OCD.
In regards to treatment; I have seen every specialist western and other you can think of. Psychiatrists, doctors, psychologists, chiropractors, naturopaths, nutritionists, Chinese med doctors, hypnotherapists etc. Some were helpful, many of the western practitioners gaslighted me. It’s traumatic enough going through this, but being gaslighted on top. I wouldn’t wish this hell on anyone.
I applied for job seeker at the time I had to leave my job, but was not granted it immediately b/c I had too much in savings. So I lived off my savings until I believe January 2021 when the payments finally started. Since then I have had medical exemptions every 3 months. At one stage Centrelink randomly decided I could work, I appealed this and received an Esat(I think that’s the name) to which a lady granted me 6 months exemption as part of overturning the decision. I’ve only been told recently that I can’t claim exemptions for longer than 2 years, that my condition is now considered permanent and I must apply for DSP.
I just asked the doctor who has written my certificates for two years to do a medical report and basically it’s a load of crap and setting me up for failure. The problem is that BIND (benzodiazepine induced neurological dysfunction) is only in the process of being approved as a diagnosis and a doctor openly admitting I was harmed by meds on a form is not that easy to obtain. However, this current doc was putting the reaction on my exemptions.
I also have a clinical psychologist I’ve seen for 12 years who says she will help me do the application. I’ve read over the table for mental health alone and I am more than matched with the elements of the ‘severe’ table.
Is it worth changing to a better doctor and telling her my story? I have an exemption until June so a little bit of time to prepare.
Any advice welcome. Thanks for reading of you made it this far.

2023.03.31 08:17 DiscoAndy [L] - I feel like a terrible dog owner but i don't know how to get better. Need someone to chat with

My mental health has been decreasing lately and i feel like a ticking time bomb. Today my dog, Ozzy, got into my brothers secret stash of edibles (which he's not supposed to have since its illegal in my area). We took my dog to the vets and essentially he's just super high but he'll be fine.
He's a poodle mix but doesn't like grooming, so i was trying to make something good of a terrible situation by shaving him. While i was trimming his paws i was tired and accidentally cut him, nothing terrible but it did bleed a little and i feel so terrible because i hurt him and he doesnt even realize it because he's high out of his mind.
I feel extra terrible because my family keeps letting him out of his crate without my permission (which i leave him in whenever i'm not home) and he chews on things or steals food and they get mad at me. He gets into a lot and i don't know what to do because he's already sick and i don't know how to stop this behavior.
I'm almost 18 so i could moveout, go to a shelter or a friends house. But i can not leave my dog Ozzy behind. The friend that could take me doesn't like ozzy and shelters dont allow dogs. I don't know what i'd do without him but i feel like a terrible owner.
Anyways, kind voice please. Thanks random internet strangers <3

2023.03.31 08:17 HappyChicken_ Dog rehab recovery after TTA TPLO surgery

My 4 year old jindo mix dog had TTA surgery in early December and she is still having difficulty walking. She becomes lame on her weak side after 15 mins on a walk, and when she’s getting up and laying down. She’s also now constantly licking her paws. She’s been through 5 weeks of hydrotherapy PT (30 min sessions/once a week) along with laser therapy. She did 10 weeks of rest post op with PROM exercises. She’s on antinol (but dasaquin for two months beforehand) I don’t know what to do. She doesn’t seem to be improving. Her leg drags when she’s walking at a normal (but faster pace than she’s been walking recently) speed. I’m not getting real answers from her vet. X-rays have never shown anything outside of done fluid buildup . However when her vet performed TTA surgery, she said her knee ligaments were shattered. This doesn’t show up in X-rays? I’m also mindful of how many times she’s getting drugged for X-rays. It’s not good to put your dog under unless you absolutely must. How complicated is it to run and analyze an X-ray? Do most dogs get back to 90-100% after TTA Surgery? If they don’t, then what more can we do for them?

2023.03.31 08:16 Random_Clod The Youngest Archangels: Chapter Thirty

"Were you pulling your feathers out again?"
"No," Xadri replied automatically before they were awake enough to see where the other voice was coming from. It was Alsi of course, wide awake and having noticed the black, blood-encrusted bunch of feathers on the nightstand.
"If you say so," Alsi muttered. A tiny worry for Xadri's sake tugged at their mind, but they shoved it away as with all other worries.
Xadri got up feeling the same level of tiredness as when they went to sleep. Their wing, with its tiny patch of missing plumage, didn't hurt anymore. Everything was just numb.
"What've we got planned today?" they asked, stretching out and willing themself not to look at the nightstand.
"Not quite sure, but we'll be adventuring together." Alsi was already reaching for their glamour. "Isn't that great?"
"Yep." Xadri stared at the floor, which was littered with feathers of every color. "You should really clean those up, by the way. You're shedding everywhere."
Alsi's first instinct was to make a quip comparing Xadri to Ayenreth, but they stopped themself from even completing the thought. Adventurers didn't have parents, or teacher-parents, and they didn't care. They cared about each other and adventure, nothing more. Alsi planned to follow suit. Moreover, they didn't want to make Xadri mad.
"Fine, but you go and ask Fenric if we have anything interesting to do today," Alsi conceded.
Englamoured and as awake as they were going to get, Xadri crept out into the library. Strikingly brighter than their dim little room, it was nonetheless uncharacteristically quiet. No scratch of pens, no clatter of vials. The only sound was a voice, unmistakably Fenric's. For whatever reason, Xadri stopped at the corner of the shelf and listened.
"That's common knowledge… What do you mean they don't know? Why didn't you tell them?"
Fenric sounded exasperated, as he often did. He sighed. There was a long pause. Was he on the phone? That didn't sound like something the technology-averse librarian would do willingly.
"Yes, of course… Well, I've been doing my best. That kind of thing isn't exactly a snap to come by around here. I'm sending my associate to the market later today, he's a help in that regard."
Another pause, even longer this time. Xadri took a risk and peeked around the corner of the shelf. Fenric was turned away from them, with a black-cased cellphone pressed to his ear. They ducked back, not having caught his attention.
"Oh yes, they're still obsessed with it. No, nothing majorly dangerous has happened. There was a bit of a close call yesterday, but nothing you'd need to worry about."
The guilt for eavesdropping crept in, but Xadri still stayed hidden. It almost sounds like he's talking about- they stopped themself mid-thought. No, that's ridiculous.
"Yes, they're doing fine as well. They've learned a lot… No, it makes sense, I can certainly see that now. And if I may be so bold, you really should've told them all that yourself."
Fenric mindlessly walked past the shelf, right in front of Xadri, and back without seeing them. Whoever was on the other side of the call must've had a lot to say.
"I'll do what I can," Fenric sighed. "Yes, for today at least, I think that's for the best. Yes, I remember… You do realize how long of a time that is? Very well, then. Goodbye."
"What was that all about?" asked another voice. Elijah? But he's not supposed to be here today…
"Nothing that concerns you," Fenric replied quickly.
Just as Xadri was about to step out into the open, Alsi seemed to suddenly appear beside them. Xadri jumped.
"I cleaned up my side of the room," they chirped.
Suddenly, Fenric was in front of the heirs. Xadri jumped again. Would anyone else like to materialize from thin air?
"Ah, good morning, children," he said with his usual composure regained. "You two didn't hear anything, did you?"
"Nope," both heirs said at once. Only Xadri lied.
"Good. Elijah, you may have our contraption back now."
"For the zillionth time, it's called a phone," Elijah said, walking over and accepting his 'contraption'. He looked… wrong. Paler than usual, even with his glamour, and like he hadn't slept in days.
"I thought you were sick," Alsi said.
"I am." Elijah shrugged. "And yet, here I am. Not contagious or anything. Old Fenric summoned me here for… some reason."
"Firstly, I needed to borrow your contraption-"
"Phone, you dinosaur." Elijah smacked his head with his palm, clearly having said this kind of thing many times in the past.
"I call things as they are. And secondly, I'll need you to act as a chaperone today," Fenric explained, smiling.
"Seriously?" Elijah said.
"When am I not serious?" Fenric asked, presumably in rhetoric. "Children, get your bag and be sure the glint stays with you. You're going to the Pineton marketplace today."
Xadri nodded and went to retrieve their bag. Might as well. Alsi followed, practically buzzing with excitement.
"A magical market in a magical town!" they whispered. "What could be better?"

2023.03.31 08:16 No_Seaworthiness3400 My roommates dad called me about my dog

Hi all. I live in Ohio and go to university here. I (22F) live with 3 other females, all 22 years old.
To start, I joined these girls lease last year as they had an open room, I did not know them previous to moving in.
One of my roommates, E (F22) has a dog. He has lived in the house since our lease started in May.
Around thanksgiving, I was thinking about adopting a puppy. Before adopting the dog I asked all of my roommates if they would be okay with another dog moving in, and there was no one opposed.
Flash forward, I adopt the dog and he moves into the house. All of the girls met him and loved him. They all sat in the living room and each of them pet him etc…
Since I would not consider myself friends with these girls I spend my time at home in my room. My dog, who I’ll just call L, follows me around the house and is only ever in common space if he is playing with the other dog at my house or when I am cooking (and he just sits at my feet).
Flash forward to early February, I receive a text from my roommate H, stating that I do not watch my dog and he is all over the house and is overall a bad dog. Now mind you, my dog is 5 months old at this point, is attached to my hips at all times, and never leaves my sight. She continued the message stating that his shedding has irritated her allergies. Mind you, she has pet him and called him over several times.
I replied telling her that he’s really only ever with me, and that I wasn’t sure what she meant by his poor behavior. I told her I was sorry about her allergies and that if it made her feel better I could vacuum the house more often. And that my vacuum is in the living room for anyone to use.
This turned into an in person conversation, where H, screamed at me about my dog and how her allergies are going to put her in the hospital. I asked her what she would like me to do and she asked again to vacuum more, I again replied that I have no problem vacuuming more and I asked her to be more respectful when texting me.
To which she screamed “thank for caring about my feelings” ran upstairs and slammed her door.
I then proceeded to take my dog on a walk where I received this message: “If I end up in the hospital because of YOUR dog, then you’ll be paying the expenses. You need to take some responsibility”
I responded and said that my dog is in my room/outside 23/24 hour of the day and that I would vaccine more like she requested.
Since this argument, there have been some flare ups of her getting mad at me since I confronted her about using my cookware and cooking oil.
I have been vacuuming every morning, and I leave my vacuum in the living room for anyone to use. I also make sure that if H is in a common area and I need to cook or take my dog outside that my dog does not go up to her at all. I also have been using a deshedding brush and brushing him outside as needed (3-4x a week)
This girl will not look me in the face or say hi back to me, which is honestly fine.
Now it’s the end of March. My grandfather passed away last week and I was packing up my room and my dogs stuff to drive home to attend his funeral. While I was packing up H was sitting in the living room, which my room is attached to. The two dogs started playing and my dog got close to H which made her upset and she ran upstairs. I finished packing up my car, being upset that I was driving to a funeral.
Which then during a drive I receive a phone call. It was a number I didn’t recognize and I let it go to voicemail. A few moments later I receive a text, it was H’s dad. The message read “Hello. This is Hs father. I just tried calling; I’d like to discuss some concerns H raised with me regarding your inability to clean up after your dog which has exacerbated her allergy and asthma symptoms. Please call at your earliest convenience so that we might discuss this issue respectfully. Thank you.”
I took a deep breath and gave him a call back. The call stated with him saying that H had my dog jump on her today (he is an English bulldog, and I’ve never seen him jump on anyone and he definitely didn’t jump on her today as he was next to me while packing) he said that she went upstairs and that she said that I was upset and stormed off and left. He asked me if this was true. I told him absolutely not it wasn’t true I was not upset I was just leaving for my grandfathers funeral.
I explain to him the situation and how I vacuum everyday and how if I am not home my dog is crated in my room and how I make sure that my dog and H do not come into direct contact. I could tell that my roommate H had lied to her dad about the situation and exagurated the details making me seem like a monster.
I explain the situation more and he threatens to get my parents involved. Which I am a full adult. I pay for my school I pay all of my bills and I pay my rent. And I pay for my dog. I found this quite ridiculous but I remained professional on the phone. Mind you I never gave him my phone number, his daughter must have sent it To him.
I ask if there is anything more he wants me to do, considering I already vacuum everyday, and I have kept a log of the dates and times of when I have vacuumed. No suggestions we’re givin he just asked me to continue what I am doing and that he sent his daughter a swifter back in mid February for her to use to help combat the fur. That swifter has been in the box in the living room since it arrived on the front doorstep.
The phone call was much longer than I described but I didn’t feel as if all the details were nesicarry to share in the post.
I guess all I am wondering is what is the legalaty that I could face. And if there was any legality where I could sue her for emotional damages due to living in a state of stress due to her actions.
