I have a stream of objects and I need to compare if the current object is not the same as the previous and in this case emit a new value. I found distinctUntilChanged operator should do exactly what I want, but for some reason, it never emits value except the first one. If I remove distinctUntilChanged values are emitted normally.

The humans weren't all that happy with literal superior beings walking around freely, so they instaled a ordenance in their code to make them serve humanity almost religiously... eventualy the planet couldn't resist the eploitaition of it's resources so ended up exploding and humanity fleeng for the stars, millions of servants perish in the initial blow and millions more keep dormant after the scape of the creators, for long long time lost to memmory generations ago they stayed in the "caves" until one day they all woke up misteriously, they had forgotten almost everything of the past, everything except that they were created for some celestial beings.
Taths the general plot of the start, oh yeah, and then there is one dude that's some kind of eternal vampire who was alive in the time of the humans and remmembers everything and is looking for revenge, the priestesses in the past were sex-bots and are the only ones who can reproduce, the centaurs are a race of nommad mongol-viking inspired people...

Hi all!
I just purchased a dress I'm so excited to wear. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I've been very active outside this year and, while I have been wearing sunscreen, I have a healthy tan along with tan lines. The dress is low cut in front and back, so the tan lines on my neck and chest are going to be super obvious.
I was hoping some of you may have some recommendations on how to even out my tan lines. Would a bronzer or lotion be good or should i just try to use makeup? I figure so many people probably deal with similar and have cracked the code on how to fix.

A few things bothering me I’ve not found in sub search:
Religion: Laura Lee (see The Lorelei) and her connection to Lottie. Lottie is what unchecked religious fervor looks like without guiding principals or a “rock” like a bible. Laura Lee would not be okay with any of what has happened in S2.
I don’t see Lottie’s mental illness as defining her. Yes, she has a mental illness and she chose to get baptized almost immediately after her symptoms returned, get over it.
Then Laura Lee was just gone. And Charlotte became a pagan Charlatan.
What I see in Lottie is a fragile person in extraordinary and perilous circumstances getting evangelized and baptized out of desperation, having a sensory experience but then immediately losing her guide, Laura Lee (totally manic plane incident) so she made up the wilderness religion bc she had a spiritual experience with no point of reference, no guide (pastoral) and no proper sequencing of teachings and principles to set her on a defined spiritual path.
This is probably controversial but if we accept, as the writers gave us plenty of evidence for it, that Lottie has a mental illness that was previously controlled by medication, but her meds ran out and her “salvation” was baptism, then we need to consider spiritually confused zealotry as a contributing factor to where S2 ended and that shitty choice Lottie made to hand the burden of leadership to someone else.
And let’s talk about the spiritual mind fuck that sad, confused, unmedicated, baptized but abandoned Lottie has laid on the group, with zero credible spiritual foundation. Symbol or not it’s a bizarre set of seemingly harmless neopagan rituals that most decided to follow religiously but for lack of any other personal or natural motivation to endure and survive that quickly escalated to cannibalism. Like, what the and get the fuck?!?
Then when Lottie is rightly horrified by what she has created, she shamefully bows out and puts the weight and continuity of her insanity (no judgement but it is insanity) onto Natalie.
Lottie in both timelines has a very thin strip of insight and self-identification of her disease. She takes a life-threatening beating without defending herself and shows up to a fireside reunion with a platter of death cocktails. She is not a mentally well person even before the crash. Laura Lee thought she could fly.

Time & Grunge: People seem to forget that 1996 was NOT a grunge year musically or socially. This is likely important. These girls are class of 2000 college grads, Millennial aged. Why are they seemingly being defined here as 1992 rad-as-f GenXers? Seriously, why?

Emo, Club Culture, EDM and ecstasy were taking hold alongside boy bands, Mariah Cary, No Doubt and top 40 R&B.
The MP3 file format was available, the dot com surge was in full swing and Yahoo ruled the world. Geeks everywhere wanted Mulder and Scully to hook up. Friends: Rachel, Ross, Monica. Joey, Phoebe, Chandler.
The whole edgy-grunge-pixie-girl pre-tech and zero-knowledge vibe was NOT a thing when the plane crashed in 1996.
I’m just a couple of years older than these Jersey girls were in 1996. There are a LOT of things about the timeline and their helplessness that feel totally…off.
And then we have Adam being an online black hole, Misty exploiting the complete opposite, the many weird landline phone refs and even Shauna’s 90s looking old minivan. The vibe I’m getting is young women trapped in time much earlier than 1996. They ALL seem immature for their age by 1996 standards.
The mid 90s saw the birth of The Soccer Mom yet all the moms are absent or dysfunctional.
And of course they’re all a bit deranged as adults. But somewhat functional - far more so than women I know who were 19 in 1996 who led rough lives and made bad choices. Except for the murders of course which honestly feel gratuitous and unnecessary given everything else we see.
It is both obvious and shocking to see none of these women in therapy except Lottie. Oh wait no, she’s hallucinating being in therapy, praying to her scary bloodthirsty AQ Jesus. And adult Nat who got called out in group at rehab for not sharing any of her trauma.
I wonder if this show is not so much about the supernatural, which I have seen little evidence of, and more about trauma and stunted psychological growth in the context of religious zealotry, mental illness, shame, absent mothers, denial, and the dawn of the consumer-driven internet revolution which was definitely a “time” delineator.
Yes the trauma theory has been discussed ad nauseam but in context to murkily motivated choices they made. I’m suggesting that religion and time are lenses to consider looking through.
Stop saying these girls are grunge. They aren’t skinny or clever enough. They all just seem lost both pre and post crash. Stop referencing a “wilderness religion” - it is the fever dream of a treatment-deprived sick girl. And please tread a bit more carefully when tossing words like “coded autistic” around while being hyper-vigilant against any reference to mental illness. You can’t have it both ways

Hello good people of reddit. Probably this was an issue back in the days but idk where to ask anymore but here.
I am new to this sub-reddit and I would need some help. I am using Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and the phone is working smoothly still. The only problem is I get a delay on screen use whenever I touch my Messenger bubble or when it pops-up if it was closed, and I cannot use the screen for 1-3s (only if I remove the bubble after touching the screen is usable instantly).
I have seen so many posts saying that it is : A) Samsungs fault B) Facebook fault C) Third-party app fault D) Not compatible messenger with android build E) All of the above F) None of the above
The thing I am looking for is a FIX of this problem, since it has been annoying me for a year or so (maybe longer, I don't recall)
If there is a good soul willing to help me, please respond to this 😀

So i've swapped my brothers motherboard out for a more up-to-date one (originally was an am3+ build) and everything boots but the moment i try and get into windows it freezes on the loading screen and gives a bluescreen
things i've tried already:
turning off secure boot: (just caused another bsod but with the error code being "kernel security check failure")
enabled legacy option roms
gonna state that this is on a hard disk drive but i was hoping to at least get it working until he gets an ssd so i can move his windows installation to the ssd im at a loss here so any help would be appreciated
could it perhaps be the bios needing an update?
specs: asus rog strix b450-f, rx 480, ryzen 5 3400g, 16gbs of 3200mhz ddr4, and a 7200rpm hdd

I was doing a block this morning - had 2 deliveries to an apartment complex. Both were small packages and the apartment was similar to a hotel with interior hallways and such to access all the units.
Shockingly the codes in the app worked to open the door. I deliver my two packages and heading back to my car.
Then I see another car parked next to me and realize it’s another flex driver. I can see a vest in the car, magnets and other stuff spread out.
This guy gets out, goes to the trunk and begins to assemble a cart/wagon thing. Im thinking he must have a large item or something. Instead, I see him place two or 3 envelopes inside and then head on out to the corridor door.
In the time it took to assemble the cart he could have probably had them delivered. Crazy stuff is happening.

I recently bought a second switch, but I forgotten my Nintendo account password. For some reason I didn't save the backup codes when I'd setup the 2FA years ago, and I'd changed my phone since so my Google authenticator is empty as well. I googled for solutions and one real solution is to contact support.
I contacted Nintendo support through chat, and they've been really helpful. I was asked to provide the current console's serial number and email address associated with it, and my birthday. That's how they're able to verify me and disabled my 2FA. From then on, I was able to reset my password.
Tl:Dr, If you lost your backup codes, just contact Nintendo support to disable your 2FA. Preferably save the codes from the start though.
