What's the most absurd thing you've ever done to try and fit in with a group of people?

Hey guys. I've been learning game dev and game design while making my first game. I'm always here in this community taking notes.
I decided to make an dungeon crawler and adventure game in a 2D top-down style. After prototyping a lot, I decided to completely change it from the 3/4-top-down to the isometric perspective (quite similar actually). Now I realized how hard it can be, besides I prefer the 3/4 style for the dungeon walls. Anyway, I'm wandering if I can use both perspectives. The player can move in all 8 directions, meaning there're no constraints in the gameplay. So I think there's no problem to see, say, objects that are in the isometric perspective (houses, rocks, paths, and so on) while inside the dungeons it is mostly 3/4. What do you think? Y'know, I don't want to mix things up and make the game feel confusing.
If y'all agree that's not a big deal, please do let me know if you remember any 2D games that do something similar to that. Thanks!

Hey everyone! So one of the players is taking over the role of DM due to my busy schedule, and I'm looking for recommendations for an excellent 1 shot for him to run. He's a very animated kind of guy and I feel like he could do an amazing job, but he's never DMd before, and I want to give him a good jumping off point. I also don't want to have read it ahead of time, which is where you lovely people come in. Bonus points if it's a 1 shot than can lead into a larger adventure or more 1 shots to make a full campaign, as I think he's going to be hooked after he DMs once.

I'm 33f, single, work in senior management, live in Central London, dress well. According to personality types, I'm an 'adventurer' (ISFP), it has some truth to it but I think people are more dynamic than myers briggs assessments imply!
Why I'm here: my two closest friends recently moved away from London, one moved to Leeds for work and the other moved to Newcastle to complete a PhD at the university. I would like to meet interesting people who have a sense of humour and can hold a decent conversation. Who knows if I will find this on reddit...worth a shot!
I would eventually like to have 1:1 friendships and groups of friends. Dinner parties, days out, nights out, nights in, movies and takeaway, occasional late night deep chats, being silly together, picnics in the park during summer, you get the gist :)
Some of my interests include:

1. Exploring new restaurants, I look forward to trying new places, enjoy good quality food and have a list of over 100 restaurants still to work through. Let's try some together?
2. Music - going out dancing, watching or listening to it, I like everything from drum and bass to latin to classical to world. I have been to see classical orchestras, metal/dnb/other gigs, and into so much more. Let's go enjoy some music?
3. Fitness - I do yoga, dance classes, always checking out new classes too.
4. I enjoy painting and do classes regularly. I have an interest in trying DJing at some point...
5. I go through phases with books. The last book I read was Man's Search for Meaning and currently have yet to read Woman Who Run With Wolves, recommended to me but haven't started yet.
6. Arts and culture - new shows, exhibitions, museums etc
7. Travel - I explore quite a lot and get to know locals, try to travel as authentically as possible.

Alright i really like the Hoenn season but it has some really big flaws in it so lets fix it
-In "Lights,Camerupt,Action!" There is a scene in wich Ash and the Gang talk about movies they have watched, when Ash is Talking about the one he watched it is a reference to the Clefairy Manga complete with Cameos from the Titular Clefairy and Red from that Manga, well it is a cool reference but the Clefairy Manga sucks so instead i would replace it with a Pokemon Adventures Reference (a much better Manga) lets just replace it with Ash saying that he once watched a Action movie and then make said Action Movie be a reference to the Manga
-In "Cutting the Ties that Bind" there is a scene where Sceptile runs off to a forest because he is angry with himself, in this scene Sceptile runs like a Normal Human would and wtf that looks weird as heck and it isnt how Sceptiles Run, Sceptile runs and walks on 4 legs like a Normal Gecko but gets up on 2 legs during Battle as we can clearly see by his Pokken Animation, so lets Just change that scene to Sceptile running like a Sceptile Normally would

To join you should be 18+. This is a newer rule so you will find people under that age on the server, they are adviced to act reasonably mature though.

This is going to be a jumbled mess of a post because I am emotional. I have posted this in another subreddit, I hope this is ok? Also yes the title is a typo. I meant I am more frustrated than upset.
I have been unhappy with our relationship for a while now, I can't put a timestamp on it so shall we say... 9 months-ish? I (26M) have lived with my now ex (23F) for about year and a half, we were together 3 years.
My girlfriend has always struggled to manage herself (in my opinion) and her time. Before we lived together we were long distance - we spent Mon-Fri living apart and working, then we would take it in turns travelling to stay at the other's house Friday night to Sunday night. This worked really well and our relationship was incredible. We would have adventures every weekend, cook together, the intimacy was very good.
Once we moved in, however, my partner started a new job (as did I0 and it slowly became terrible to be with her. Eventually she would never make time for me, she would shut herself in her study like a teenager in a bedroom. We didn't watch TV together or go out together anymore like a 'normal' couple. I felt so pushed aside.
So I warned her that if she doesn't try to spend time with me, and stop taking the comfortable and easy option of shutting herself away on her computer, we would drift apart. I warned her about this not once, not twice, not even three times. I told her for months that our relationship would die.
During this time I took on more and more responsibilities too. I would constantly be clearing away after her and cleaning the apartment too. We have a cat together which she does look after but that is about it, other tasks fall on me generally.
Our intimacy died and my girlfriend started to lose interest in me sexually. I took this really hard and tried to be exciting for a long time but never got the attention I need in that sense.
Cut forward to yesterday and when I got in from work, she decided to have a talk with me. She told me she isn't happy being with me anymore, her heart isn't in it, we have grown apart, she can't give me what I need anymore. I handled it well and mature enough but I was so annoyed to hear her say we have grown apart, when I told her enough times that she was neglecting our relationship.
She couldn't decide if she wanted to stay with me. I told her well you have until tomorrow at the latest to decide because I will not wait on you like a loyal dog, if you do not come to me with an answer I will assume we are done.
Long story short I got my answer, she is leaving me. In a way it is a relief... In another I feel so irritated. I wasted so long carrying the weight of our relationship and trying to fix things because I loved her so much, then when she finally realises that she has allowed things to die she doesn't think it is worth trying to start again/work on things. Not even an attempt to resolve our love.
In a way a lot of this is my fault, fine, I should've known things wouldn't change and I should have broken up with her myself a while ago. But I just couldn't let her go because I love her so much.
I am staying in our apartment because it is easy for me to remain in this position and I own most of the furniture here, she is moving out because her parents are going to put down a deposit and help her buy a property to live in. She is the kind of girl that will never come into hardship because her parents have the money to just bail her out.
Sadly because of this I have had to let her take our cat when she does move. I love the cat with all my heart, she is my world. But I know she has a better chance at life with my ex because she will always have the money to do anything necessary for her. I'm super torn up about the cat.
Anyway yeah I'm not even that sad about the breakup; I just feel really angry and disappointed in both her and myself.

So me and my boyfriend used to live together and he recently (3/15) moved out and into his moms house to give us some space. I had already spent almost two weeks away from him when I went to go spend time with my family. When I finally got back last week (3/16) he was already moved out. We agreed space was what we needed but it seems like since he moved out and since we’ve been spending time apart he’s been less communicative with me or flaking on plans. This morning he text me that he was going to visit his sister and dad up north which was a 3 1/2 hour drive. Being hones, it set me off; because I’ve been trying to make plans for him to come over since Sunday (mind you I only live 2 miles from his mom) and he’s had excuse after excuse. So for him to just wake up and suddenly have the energy for a 3 1/2 hour drive but not a 7 minute drive to come hang out with me really hurt. Plus we’ve talked about going together to visit his sister for sooo long! So I was sad that I wasn’t going as well. These past two weeks have just been off though in general. He texts’ me less and less. Doesn’t really ask me how my day is or what I’m doing. Just doesn’t communicate with me like he used to. Giving me the bare minimum. And it’s frustrating because I am 100% vocal on how I’ve been feeling but all he has to say is, and I quote “ We are supposed to be giving each other space like we agreed. “ Space I understand, but the lack of communication is what I don’t understand. Like what is the correct or proper way to work on a relationship when you’re trying to give each other “Space” so to speak. Mind you, we don’t EVER go on dates because he has health issues (back problems) and he never knows what the day will be like. In the 15 months we’ve been dating I can count on one hand how many dates we’ve gone on. And not even “Date Night” dates. Like breakfast or lunch dates because we were hungry. Something just always came up or he wasn’t feeling good so we have never gone on a “ Real Date”. In the time we’ve been together he’s been focusing on work and basically put our relationship on the back burner. I bought The Adventures Challenge book couples editions LAST YEAR and barely opened it to finally do a challenge 3 weeks ago which was so fun! There’s been a lot that went on in the relationship to get us to this point and the place I’m in mentally is overwhelmed. Like 24/7 for the past year. I’m financially stressed, emotionally stressed from family drama, physically stressed due to bad periods, and mentally stressed with this relationship. Last week Thursday I finally started seeing a therapist and it went great. Totally loved it. My BF thinks I should be seeing and talking to someone more than once a week because he believes I’m the problem but I can’t afford that right now since it’s cash pay. And it makes me so upset because he’s the reason I’m financially stressed. My therapist told me that I’m in a constant state of Survival Mode/Stress Response (Sympathetic Nervous System) and she couldn’t be more true. I can’t remember the last time I was at peace. I’ve been in this state of mind for a year now. So I now understand why I react and respond the way that I do but for my BF to say that it’s all my fault and that I’m the problem is not true at all. He definitely played a part in it. I’m just at a loss. I communicate with him SOOO much on how I’m feeling and how his lack of communication is affecting me but he continues to say we just need space. So am I in the wrong for still wanting basic communication? Or am I the crazy one?
