I've had my leased Model 3 for two weeks now. I work from home, so I thought a lease would be ideal for me, as I don't really drive that much. Every morning, I drop off the kids to school and, when I had my old ICE, I would then go home and get ready for work. However, I had not considered how fun this car is to drive. So now I keep taking detours to not get home so quickly (the school is 5 minutes from our house). I've already accumulated close to 600 miles in just two weeks!! I now realize that it's going to be a tough challenge to stay within 10k/year with this thing š«

I am starting a new self improvement journey, Iāve practiced this for years but always quit by the end. I spent years on Twitter but before July 2022, I didnāt use it every day. I did quit social media from March-June 2020 & September-November 2020.
I want to take more breaks from Twitter this year & limit time on Instagram. Once I get the hang of it, I will go cold Turkey in a week or two.
I felt so much better when I reconnected with nature, So I want to spend more time outside. I stayed inside too much last summer. Now Iām going to the gym 3 times a week and spending more time in nature.
I really need to focus on studies and get my GED so I can get into college. I just turned 28 and still trying to get into college and attempting to get in this year. I used to do 5 days at the gym and aiming for 4 days.

I used to have a Sandqvist Bernt which I loved.
I really like: - Easy access to laptop - cinch strap meant huge expandable capacity very useful when grocery shopping - Clean aesthetic and simple functional design. No added crap. - External access to water bottle - External access to zip pocket
Unfortunately one of the zippers failed after 3 years of use. Moreover, the backpack was not very waterproof, it protected things well but absorbed quite a bit of water.
At Christmas I was gifted an Arc'teryx Granville 20. This backpack is sucks. The external zipper is covered by the buckle when closed. The buckle has to be very tight to work. The flap is always in your way. And it's small. I liked being able to go from 20L to 25L previously and grocery shopping with this is impossible.
So I'm looking for a new bag. I would really love a waterproof version of my old bag basically.
I've been recommended the Everyday Pack by Peak Design but it seems like a lot of superfluous features and I'm not in love with the aesthetic. Keeping it in mind though.
Any recommendations?

My wife and I have identical laptops. I recently upgraded mine to a new Intel AX210 WiFi card, and yesterday decided to do the same for hers. Her laptop was running Windows 10 and was giving her some stuttering behavior the other day. I run Windows 11 on mine and since there's been a lot of newer ASUS image/firmware updates for it I decided to upgrade her to 11 as well. I backed up all her data, swapped the WiFi card out, made sure everything was working as-is, and then wanted to give it the ol' nuke and pave to Windows 11.
Issue:
Past 2 days:
Windows 10, Windows 11, and Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (live USB) all lock up randomly and I can't complete an install.
Windows 11 Install - installation completes, OOBE loads, and it will lock up randomly anywhere between connecting to WiFi network to signing into Microsoft account
Windows 10 Install - installation completes, OOBE loads, and it'll lock up between connecting to WiFi network to right after creating a local account
Ubuntu 22.04 LTS LiveUSB - locked up after about 6 minutes of idling in the "Try Ubuntu" load
I considered perhaps it was the SSD, so we overnighted a new Samsung 970 EVO from Amazon, the issue persists. I even swapped the old WiFi card back in thinking maybe it was just a problematic Intel WiFi card causing the issue.
It does not lock up in BIOS (I let it sit with something on an arrow key for 30min so it was changing menus constantly - no lockups)
It does not appear to lock up in PE environments, namely SystemRescueCD Live.
EDIT: It does not appear to be a heat issue either, i compared our laptops on startup and they seem to be behaving the same way in that regard. I have considered tearing it all the way down and reapplying thermal paste, but that's a task I'd rather not get into if I can help it.
I've also reseated the RAM, even swapped the slots they're installed in.

I ran memtest86 overnight for 8hrs, 5 passes, no issues.I managed to get Windows 10 installed w/o much fuss this morning with no wifi card in it and ran mdsched.exe and it passed
I was going to run an in-os diag with Si-Sandra or Cinebench, but it locked up almost immediately.
I've been in I.T. since 2006 and I'm running out of ideas.

I'm a home owner, a 5% equity partner in a CPA firm, a 5% partner in the building the CPA firm operates in (3 other offices being rented to outside businesses) and the only financially literate person in my family and it took a while for me to truly understand personal finance. Also, while I like the cash back, I got into credit cards as a game for my math brain and also for aspirational travel. Here's my history.
About 11 years ago, I had used a single Capital One card but due a dispute with them, I closed my account and opened a Bank of America Card where I paid absolutely no attention the any rewards perks.
About 9 years ago, I got a Freedom Flex. I don't remember why.
About 4 years ago, I realized that instead of earning 1% cash back, I could earn 1.5% cash back on the Freedom Unlimited. Why not get .5% more on all my spend since I charge everything that can be charged without an additional fee? Sweet!
A little over two years ago, my firm decided to take a trip to Disneyland (thanks PPP!). Since we had to book two separate groupings for flights, I was offered the chance to get a free Jet Blue CC just to get the rewards, which I did. I only use that card when I book Jet Blue flights (not often) and I'm saving those miles for a future event when one arises.
That brings us to 6 months ago. Now a partner in a business, a building and accustomed to owning a house, I decide to try to track my spending to really see exactly my spending and savings (I'm a CPA so I had a ballpark idea but I wanted to know exactly). This brings me to thinking about my credit cards.
I decide I don't want to pay any annual fees and I want to maximize my percentage return on spend (excluding what you could redeem points for when traveling). It's a balance between wanting higher rewards but preferring points and all the while, avoiding any annual fees. If possible, not carry a million cards too.
First card is the Citi Custom Cash. I use it as a gas card because I never spend more than $500 on gas so I don't have to think about it. Custom Cash = Gas is easy to remember. Plus, my firm reimburses me for gas so it's easy to submit that statement for reimbursement each month. Good Idea
Second, I realize I spend a lot on Amazon. After all, if it's not food or clothing, I buy it on Amazon. I even buy my household cleaning products there. However, I sign up for the Synchrony version and it's like using a website from 1999. Whatever it's 5% so win, right?

I sat there, breathing in and out of sync, wondering if my end is near, wondering if I was right or wrong. Each tick of the old style clock on the wall, they seem to be both a second and day to me, both of which were to long. I hear only their voices now, the two men sit across from me, SAC Murray and the CIA Director, or was it CIA Director Murray? If so who is the other human? Why is my head on the table? Why am I bound again? Oh, I remember, how could I forget what I did. Or did I do that?
āWe understand that you passed out Miss Praw-Naw, so we gave you a cocktail of drugs to awaken you from itā The man on the right speaks, Murray I believe? Wait, drugs? What did they give me and how much?
āWhat drugs? My mind is racing and I feel like Iām going tāā Well, I just gave the floor a new hideous paintjob. Still it already looks better than the old grey one.
āWe gave you a bit of pain relief, some barbiturates to prevent stress and some nervous stimulants to wake you up.ā The, Director speaks? 42 year old male. My hands always hurt, not noticably swollen. Sometimes I drop things from the pain, even small things like a can of pop. spreading my fingers usually causes the same pain. Any ideas would be appreciated
