I was a fan of Katie ( I think I still am but having doubts). I started followed her through her pumping journey as I was doing pumping and breastfeeding. Trying to play music from a USB stick in my 2022 Sonata. Pretty much all of my music works great (it's been ripped as either FLAC or MP3), but certain songs don't show up at all. My primary device is a 256 sandisk, which I formatted as Fat32 and threw all my music on (yes I know you can't hear the difference between mp3 and flac in a car, I just dont want to convert all my already ripped CDs). My folder system is setup as artist>album>songs. Oddly, the specific albums I'm having trouble showing up are from Ed Sheeran and Beckah Shae (not that that should make a difference but?) I have tried converting to MP3, formatting at 32GB usb and placing them on there (in which my Sonata tells me there's "no supported files") and I'm really at a loss for how to proceed. I know, everyone uses a phone for music nowadays but I just switched back to a "dumb" phone in order to lower my high usage of screen time per day. Anyways, has anyone had experience with this? Also SEL convenience trim if that helps

It then said it was updating and to place the headset in the dock.
I did that for about 5 minutes and I have put it back on my head a few times so see where it was at

A disclaimer before I proceed is that I’m not much of a gamer. I’m an architect who does a lot of 3D modeling, rendering, and VR… all of which run on engines similar to video games. So my needs are similar if not more demanding sometimes (time = money).
I’ve always like Razer products because of the aesthetic, power, and size. I’ve owned every Blade 17 since 2019 and had a 15 at one point in there. I always get the 4k screen because I appreciate the extra real estate with my menu-heavy applications that clog up working space. Also why I get the biggest screen size.
Despite all the problems you see on this sub, I’ve never had any. True, I upgrade yearly and resell, so who knows about those machines long-term, but all the immediate QC issues… I’ve been fortunate I guess.
Last year I was a bit disappointed with my 17” 4k variant however. They got rid of the glossy touch screen in lieu of a matte version and honestly… the anti-reflective coating makes things look pixelated. It’s not a bad display by any means, but aside from the extra screen real estate, the display wasn’t particularly “brilliant”. It was a step down from the 2021 laptop IMO.
So when the 18 was announced with its 2560 display, I was a bit sad. But the extra brightness was appealing as the 2022 4k display always felt a little dim. After a lot of debating and researching, I finally bit the bullet on Tuesday afternoon. I ordered from Razer which I don’t normally do, but I wanted it, and it arrived Thursday morning. Crazy how fast it came from China. Last time I bought from Razer it got stuck in Anchorage for 3 weeks as Razer’s fault with a customs form. That’s a great improvement.
Now that I’ve used the laptop for half a day, I have a few observations:
The 2560 screen compared to last year’s 4k is just as good when you factor in scaling and sitting a realistic distance away. I can see the difference when I get really close and look at icons in the task bar for example. But that’s not a normal thing I do. I got used to it very quickly. The refresh is VERY nice. I do miss the glossy still and honestly if/when they release a glossy version, I will buy it. But for now, this screen is superior to my 2022 4k variant simply because of the extra screen brightness and that extra .7 inches or whatever it is.
My other observation is how freaking fast this thing is. It’s an actual desktop replacement for me, potentially. I’ll keep my desktop as well, but I don’t have any doubts that this machine can do all my workflow demands whereas every other high-end Blade I’ve owned has always been slower to the point where I choose my desktop every time unless I’m traveling. I ran my benchmarks for Vray and played with some scenes. The GPU benchmarked higher than my desktop’s founders edition 3090 and the CPU higher than my desktop’s 12th Gen i9.
All-in-all I’m very happy so far and this upgrade has been my most worthwhile in years!

Looking to upgrade wheel after T150 has served me well for 4 or so years. I'm comparing these three options, and potentially 4th, which is the T818 when/if it comes to console. I'm a console user so I'm limited to these three options:

1.) TGT-2
I know it is belt drive, but it is powerful at 6.4nm and is smooth and big upgrade over current setup. Works well with Gran Turismo 7 which is mostly what I play. Is pretty well ironed out and reliable setup considering it's near identical to TS-PC and improvements over original T-GT. It is dependable and I can get this one from a local Microcenter. I personally don't mind belt driven wheels and this is the best option for belt driven wheels. I also like Thrustmaster add on wheels and feel they offer decent value compared to Fanatec pricier add-on wheels. The TLCM are solid pedals as well. I would be getting the base/wheel and the TLCM pedals putting it around $930 or so. I could also get the base along, with a wheel add-on of my choice, along with the TLCM pedals for same price.
2.) Fanatec DD Pro
This one is popular but I had a bad experience with Fanatec which was my first wheel actually. There was belt whine and the shifter had an issue where you couldn't shift into third gear. The pedals were all metal but I did not like the feel of them. Although I was a kid back then and didn't follow up for the 'V2' kits and other kits to fix shifter and so forth. It still left me uneasy about Fanatec. Metal construction is not everything to me and doesn't mean I will have a good experience. Fanatec has gone a long way since, and this setup offers 8nm with the boost kit. It's only available as a bundle with the load cells for $969. I don't know how the csl pedals are, they look decent. I don't like the plastic rim though. And it's unclear if you can order base by itself alone for PS5. It seems this option is available for Xbox but not PS5. So , I would be stuck with this setup. Fanatec wheels are nice but pricey. I prefer some of the TM wheel add-ons personally. People say Fanatec no longer has issues but I'm still uneasy about that. Seems like the console compatibility issues of csl elite has been resolved with the GT and Playstation license so that's a plus.
3.) Logitech G Pro
This looks like the highest quality DD wheel available for PS5. I actually like the steering wheel design. It is strongest wheel base out of the three. The pedals look very nice, probably the best out of all three, and bundling it gives you about $100 off the pedals. Price comes to $1,260. Logitech has good QC according to most people and I've seen nothing but praise for this wheel. The QR seems to be the best out of the three. Cons are the shifter and lack of ecosystem. It's unclear if they will add a new shifter and wheel add-ons.

I do want h-shifter with all these setups. Personally not a fan of either of them. Prefer something like SHH, VNM, or Moza shifter but they don't work on console. If Logitech makes a new more higher trim shifter, it will probably end up being the best shifter for console. I personally am leaning against Fanatec for reasons stated but could be persuaded otherwise. Thrustmaster is probably the most plug and play option right now and is dependable. Their QR system isn't the best , though. Another option is to wait for T818 console version with new QR and wheel add-ons potentially, but don't know if this is even a plan for this year. Logitech seems like attractive option. Anyone have either of these and can chime in on their experiences?

I’m confused why people are having crashes and performance issues. I’ve seen much worse performance in other games when ray tracing is turned all the way up and running in 4K even with DLSS. I got the game then proceeded telling my girlfriend who has wanted to play it with me since it was announced that we will have allot of issues with the game. I said we will most likely have low frame rate issues stuttering and tons of crashing. I told her if we are patient though I’m sure we will have a great time.
My system specs are no longer top of the line and my CPU never really was that crazy to begin with. Here is a list of my specs incase it help. My system specs are: -RTX 3090 FE -INTEL I5-11600k OC to 5ghz stable -32 GB Tridant Royal Z at 3200mhz
Less important specs just incase somehow it matters: -1TB m.2 NVME where game and win10 are installed -MSI Mag Z590 GEW -1200 watt platinum PSU. While seeing reviews I was reading even with the 3090 which isn’t top of the line anymore they said I would be not even able to run on high settings m with DLSS at a solid 60fps.
My experience has blown me away maybe it’s the amount of ram I have since all benchmark system I seen had 16gb? My game is running so well better then most games since I have every setting at the max and I mean every setting as high as it will go I even have AF at 16x which is never needed running 4K but it runs so well I kept it like that.
All my ray tracing settings are cranked. Only settings I don’t have on and never use in any game are the film grain and the chromatic abbreviation with motion blur set to only “3” since I hate using the first 2 settings. I also don’t like too much motion blur either. So with everything possible on max plus being in 4K with quality DLSS which is scaling up from 1440p I have not gone below 60fps which one time at all.
I am playing this on a 4K tv instead of monitor so my girlfriend can watch the game too so i have v sync on which makes it stay at 60fps since its 60 hz tv and then I have my frame rate limiter set to 70 just to give it 10 frames extra without v sync
So basically I have steady fps, but why? I have been thinking of uploading a video even to ask why it runs so well for me. On top of steady FPS I have played the game for 14 hours so far without a single crash at all. I have yet to even have a long loading screen. It loads the same speed as most games these days I haven’t had issues yet. The only long load was at the beginning first launch when I let it do the shader thing. I found the shader thing interesting as it maxed my GPU and CPU to 100% usage the entire time it loaded them and it even had my ram usage at 83% a number I have never seen on my 32gb ram in a game in my life.
First seeing this I figured the game would surely run bad but after the shaders installed and the game came on my GPU stayed at high usage my CPU stayed around 40-50% usage and my ram around 25-30%. So I have had a amazing experience with this game to say the least I love it and I’m just so sorry for people who are having issues especially when I’m reading people who even have 4090- 4080s are having trouble.
Even people with RTX 3090 like me are having issues. I’m not sure what the issue is and I hope I can get insight why mine seems to be perfect while others with better hardware can have a hard time. I also play with a wired PS5 controller for the haptics. I was reading the mouse controls have stutter issues that are fixed by using a gamepad so maybe that’s also something to think about.
Anyways I really hope they do patch it or explain how people could run it better if it is needing more ram maybe because it’s not right to see all these people having issues.

A little bit of back story: So the house I’m currently living in has definitely come with it’s fair share of paranormal occurrences. Everything between seeing an actual figure walking down the hallway, to picture frames moving when I enter a room and turn on the lights, to a situation where my roommate reported hearing my voice beckoning him out into the living room.. while I wasn’t home. None of us have ever really gotten a sinister feeling during these occurrences and kind of just tried not to dwell on them or talk about them in the house as not to provoke/encourage whatever it is that is occupying the house.
The cough drop event: This happened about 20 minutes ago. I’m sitting in bed watching tv and on the wall in which my tv sits against is a periodic table. As I’m focused on the television I notice a blue glimmer of light on the periodic table that appeared for a split second and was gone by the time I shifted my focus from the tv to the poster. I shrugged this off as my imagination or just a glitch in my brain. About 10 minutes later I get up to grab a drink from my desk and notice there is a cough drop sitting next to me in my bed. Now I keep an extremely tighty room and unless I’m sleeping my bed is always made and I lounge on top of the comforter. Im not sick and haven’t carried or used a cough drop in well over a year. Furthermore the cough drops I do have in a drawer in my room are a separate brand. About 10 minutes before I noticed the cough drop I had just gone to the kitchen to grab some snacks. So I thought MAYBE there were cough drops in the cupboard and one somehow stuck to the package of one of the snacks. I knew this was extremely unlikely as the snacks I got were purchased recently and had no sort of adhesive anywhere on them. Nevertheless i wanted to true and debunk the weirdness of the situation. I go to the cupboard to see if there are any loose cough drops (the cupboard is above eye line above the fridge). Nothing. I then ask my roommate if he has any cough drops of that brand in the house to which he replies that he has ZERO cough drops in the house of any kind. I’ve tried playing out every possibility of how this random cough drop could have managed to appear next to me in bed and I just can’t.

I was playing a new game that has a lot of static bright colors and that’s when I noticed the slight burn-in. I could see the HUD from another game that I’ve played a TON of over the span of the TV’s life cycle. From what I seen it looked like just the HUD on the bottom left of the screen. I could see the health bar, character photo, etc; all faint and not super glaring, but again it’s there. Also, I’ve always had my brightness high, nice bright colors, HDR, etc.
I was just curious if I got the bad end of the stick with my hours or if this was typical. I bought the TV in December 2020. I got a little under 2 1/2 years of use before I noticed burn-in. For $1500-1600, I don’t know if I got a good deal or not. lol.

I have been having a great time getting into fallout 3 again (I never finished it back in the day) on a TV with my stadia controller, but I fumbled the controller yesterday and somehow turned off controller support in the game. I can still play with the Steam Deck controls, but that's doesn't work as well on a big screen.

I have a beloved little brother who is a toddler, and he and I have always had a special bond. We share a love of playtime, cartoons, and simply being together.
