Just remembered this game and wanted to go back and laugh at it a bit. I had played it specifically on a kindle fire and it was a free game. It was VERY low quality/budget and was probably made with ubisoft or something similar. I remember a broken down car being somewhere in the middle of the map, and maybe a few around a few other places along with trees and other decor. It was incredibly dark and a decent sized map, with black mountain silhouettes probably just pasted onto to image they used for the sky. That’s about as much info as I can give aside from it being single player. I’m on IOS and have found nothing on the app store.

(I may or may not be using this as an excuse to talk about my favorite character. 😬)
His name's Toby Rogers and he's a character from Creepypasta. He's also known as "Ticci Toby" but I really try to avoid calling him that because it makes me uncomfortable. That's literally an insult his bullies gave to him because of his Tourettes Syndrome. That's so messed up...
(He has a lot of disorders; this is just the one he's most known for. He has another one called Congenital Insensitivity to Pain and Anhydrosis (CIPA), which basically just means that he can't feel pain or temperature. It also causes him to not sweat as much/at all.)
Anyway, I've had the fattest... (well, I wanna say crush, but other's might call it limerence... I'm gonna call it a crush) crush on him for almost a full decade (9 years)(Man, it's crazy to think that I've liked him for that long 💕). I found out about him either on YouTube or Pinterest, I don't remember which, when I was 14. I've been infatuated with him ever since. 💕
I remember, near when I first discovered him, watching a YouTube video about him, which narrated his story while pictures slowly panned in the background, and I remember feeling absolutely horrible for him.

I remember crying when I first watched that video... hearing about what he went through with his sister, his father, and at school. No person should have to deal with ONE of those, let alone all of them. To this day, I still feel horrible about what happened to him.
Anyway, after that video, I was hooked and wanted to learn more about him. I started searching for more and more videos, pictures, fanfics, anything I could get my hands on. The more I learned about him, the more I fell for him.
(This obsession alone probably should've gotten me diagnosed sooner, lol. 😅 I wasn't diagnosed until I was 21. I'm 23 now.)
There's this one artist who draws him a lot called LynnArty. She's extremely talented and I recommend checking out her work. She's on YouTube and Instagram. Anyway, I bring her up because there's this one video she did on her YouTube channel called "IN CAGE: Ticci Toby Animatic" which is a beautifully done animatic accompanied by the song "Don't You Dare Forget the Sun" by Get Scared. (Toby is frequently associated with this song.)
So... this video has my all-time favorite character, one of my all-time favorite songs, and is drawn by one of my all-time favorite artists.... (Can you tell I love this video? 💕) (Btw, I REALLY like her art style in this video. It's just 😘👌💯 mwah! chef's kiss.)

There's also this really good fanfic I've read that portrays his personality perfectly. Maybe not the most accurate (as far as the original story is concerned), there's a lot of headcanon's in it, but... it just makes a lot of sense to me, you know? Like, yeah, THAT'S Toby.
It's called Spill Your Guts (on AO3 and Quotev). It's SO GOOD! And I'm not just saying that because I'm a simp, lol. It's genuinely really good. The grammar, the pacing, the story-telling, the humor, the way the characters are portrayed; it's just all so good! (Again, there's a LOT of VERY mature, sensitive, heavy themes in this, so if you don't think you'd be comfortable with that, maybe don't read it.)
If you don't think you'd be comfortable reading it, or simply don't want to, I'll do my best to describe his personality here. 👍
So, at the beginning of the story, he's really mischievous, sarcastic, childish, and tends to have wild mood swings. (I forgot to mention earlier that he also has Bipolar Disorder.) He plays pranks on the main character (the reader) and is generally just a snarky, annoying little jerk. (He's an asshole, but like.... a loveable, fun asshole, if that makes sense.)
(Example (minor spoiler): The reader plays as a waitress in the beginning of the story. Toby, at some point, decides to dine there as a customer. She had met him before but under... different circumstances... and while he was in disguise. She didn't realize it was him, out of disguise, at the moment, as she was serving him. Anyway, Toby decides to be little asshole and pull a prank on her. He, the evil little genius he is, keeps complaining about his drink. At first, he tells her to get rid of the ice cubes in his drink, because he doesn't like them. After she returns, he tells her that he changed his mind and would like ice cubes again. After she returns, he tells her that he changed his mind again and would like his drink without ice cubes. At this point, the main character (reader) is done with his shit. Meanwhile, I'm laughing my ass off at his little stunt as I'm reading it.)
After a while, however, his walls slowly start to break down more and more and he starts to show his more calm, sweet, thoughtful, caring, bubbly, sensitive side.
(Example (minor spoiler): One day, Toby, the reader, and two others decide to go to Walmart to get a few things. While there, Toby runs from security after making a huge mess searching for something that the reader briefly mentioned earlier that she missed having. (It was chapstick, btw). After getting home from the trip, Toby, after getting done with a shower, comes into the living room, holding some things in his arms, and sits next to the reader on the floor. He quickly shoves a scraggly box into her chest out of excitement and impatiently tells her to open it. She does and is amazed when she realizes it's a shit-ton of chapstick. Toby then goes on to explain to her that he wasn't sure which one she wanted, so he got a bunch. The reader is extremely grateful and immediately puts some on. She also tells Toby that that was one of the kindest things to ever happen to her. Just the fact that he did all of that, knowing that he'd get in trouble for it. Not only by security, but by Brian and Tim, too (his friends/co-workers/roommates). All because he wanted to see her happy. Toby then continues by saying he had another surprise for her. He then goes on to search through a sketchbook he had brought with him and skimmed through the pages before landing on a specific one and handing it to her. On the page was a beautiful sketch of the reader leaning against the couch, which he had sketched earlier that day before going to Walmart. "I drew you, Y/n. (Your name)" The reader then tears up with happiness before throwing her arms around Toby in a hug. Toby immediately accepts the hug. 💕)
(I love that scene so much. 💕 I cried the first time I read it. It still gets me very emotional. I love this little dork; he's so adorable and sweet. 💕)
Don't get me wrong, that little mischievous, playful, asshole side is still there, too, (which I also throughouly enjoy) it's just that his other side is starting to shine now, too. 💕
Like, I don't think I can list a single thing I don't like about him.... he's just so.... ugh! Amazing! I love him... ❤❤❤
I like his amazing personality, his fine af looks 😩👌, his backstory, the fanart, the fanfics, like- I can't get enough of him, honestly.

They have said to me that they were diagnosed with DID (mind them they're 13.) When they tried to reconnect with me again. They ONLY talk about their alters, whenever I invited them to hang out or they were around me and my irls they would vent, trauma dump, or talk about their alters like it's something quirky or it's something funny to add into a conversation.
Like we'd be talking about how our weekends went and they'd come up and say "haha my mom almost oded" and me and irl would just sit there like what.
Plus they never stop talking about how their ticci Toby alter makes their tics worse, correct me please if I'm wrong if alters can make something worse but they have never ticced even when we hung out alone. But suddenly when ticcy Toby is fronting they're ticcing all over the place.
And they have a partner system and they vented to me (I said it was fine) they said they broke up with X and now they don't have a south park partner (apparently X had an alter that their south park alter was dating) and they talked about and talked to their partner about it and suddenly! Woopty doo their partner system has that said alter and now their south park alters are dating even though T told us their partner system dislikes south park and has never had south park alters before?? They have like multiple "ships" in their relationship where their alters date another alter who is considered a ship.
I'm giving them like a benefit of the doubt not that they're not faking but that they're a 13 year old on tiktok 💀

Specifically I remember The Rake stalking the MC in the woods after MC spited Slenderman. I think it took a lot of inspiration from the followers of Slenderman from other Creepypastas. I feel almost certain Ticci Toby was another mentioned, but I don’t remember seeing him.

For the last few years, I've been preparing for a writing project that's basically a collection of different horror stories taking place in the same universe. All the stories have connections, but they vary in terms of significance. One of the characters I'm beginning to focus more on now suffers from moderate autism(mostly basing the symptoms he deals with on my own, but with some exaggeration), that he's been bullied for his whole life. In addition to the typical social issues, he also deals with sensory impairments that are fairly uncommon for those on the spectrum, at least from what I can see. He's loosely based on the Creepypasta character "Ticci Toby". But unlike Toby, who was born without the ability to feel physical pain, the boy in my story just feels less pain than normal.
Example: Getting stabbed feels more like getting pinched. Getting punched feels more like getting shoved. Hot and cold whether conditions that would cause pain to most people just cause mild discomfort to him. For this reason, he tends to throw himself into the line of fire to protect his sister and mother from his violent step-father. As time goes on, and things become worse(partly because of the abuse, partly because of various supernatural, borderline Lovecraftian entities stalking the family), his mindset gets more pained and hostile towards abusers. When his sister goes missing, he snaps after the police can't find her for several months. He ends up killing his step-father with power tools upon coming home one day and seeing his mother has been beaten to death, after which he goes on the run. Now, here's the big kicker.
The boy in question found some joy in killing his abuser. And even begins fantasizing about doing the same to others like his first victim. I'm not fully settled on how deep his mindset is gonna go into those sadistic fantasies, but they're already present and potent.
Argument: One of my classmates at school who knows about my story plans keeps insisting that making an autistic character sadistic, regardless of the context, doesn't make sense. They say it's impossible for anyone with autism to enjoy someone else's pain. He hasn't been able to offer any logical backup for why he thinks that either, and he refuses to listen to my rebuttals. I know very well it's possible for someone with autism to be sadistic, seeing as I've had those tendencies myself, but he doesn't take that argument seriously either. He thinks I'm "too functional" to be autistic. Not sure why, but I'm kinda hoping feedback from people here will help sway him. His statements on the matter have gotten really annoying.
