I feel like it took a while, but due additional series and time, the prequel trilogy are acceptable to fans again. They were hated on hard back in the 2000s similarly to how seuqel trilogy were hated on in late 2010s.
Sequel trilogy did everything in their power to relate to originals while trying to make almost no connection to prequels. The new shows have made all the connections to original and prequels while ignoring the sequels.

I think they are now trying to slowly bring the sequels back in though, through... Cloning.
Mando Season 3 is going back to the science and cloning mentioned in season 1 and bad batch is talking about the Emperors push for cloning tech. Heck cloning scientist smoothtalker was in the same board meeting as krenick and project Stardust. And we all know why palp is interested in cloning. Hence link to episode ix.
Are they trying to make sequels kosher again or am off base? If so what's the next step?

I tried S1 and S2 and found them unwatchable. S3 is a line drive up Fan Service Alley, sure, but I'm curious how you're hoping the season/series concludes in the last three episodes. Not sure they can tie up all these loose ends in 180 minutes satisfactorily.

For me:
- More emotional human moments instead of plot-plot-plot, which I feel the show is veering toward now...
- Picard nor Jack being some sort of special Space Jesus
- An ending that doesn't involve the GD Borg Queen
- Seeing the old gang together in one scene where they can just be themselves, when there's no heightened circumstances or looming cliffhanger. Just a "this is the last time we'll be together" scene, maybe on a holodeck 1701-D, before they return to their lives.
- No unnecessary sacrifices/deaths for the TNG crew. Why bring them back to do that to us?
- Picard and the two Crushers having a real family moment. (And Beverly not turning out to be a changeling.)
- Shaw showing some redemptive respect for the gang (and likewise) and maybe getting a little looser with his captaining style/giving jazz another try.
- Worf choosing not to murder someone at a crucial moment out of principle
- No Guinan
- Vadic switching sides in a crisis of faith
- The Federation conclusively being rid of some lingering changeling threat, so we can go back to believing in an uncompromised future
- The portal weapon being re-used in some clever way against the enemy
- Peace among everyone
- No Wesley Crusher. I dig Wil Wheaton just fine, but I caught his overly earnest S2 cameo and was like, "Really?" I wanted to wipe that knowing, almost motherly expression off his face when he was recruiting that ... whatever character she is from S2. And speaking of Wesley's mom, can't he visit his mom more often? Good lord.
- Data and Lore (and Lal) uniting to be an integrated family, so he's human (essentially).
- BONUS: The Nexus coming out of nowhere at the very last second, which will then deliver Captain Kirk so he can kick some ass in a new golem body. He and Picard can briefly lock eyes and give each other a knowing "I got your back no matter what" expression from across the room, too.

Personal Statement: 8/10 - I tried to take a unique approach and talk about a lot of topics relating to who I am as a person. I used this overarching theme of my love for browsing Wikipedia and connected the things I learned on there to learning about aspects of myself. Completely overhauled the last paragraph in the last few days (but not before I submitted the old one to Georgetown and Harvard :,) haha)
Harvard Supplemental: 7/10 - I was on a time crunch to write this one since I was going out of the country. It's mostly a Frankenstein essay made up of bits and pieces of other essays I had written over the course of a year for college and scholarship-related things. More focus on my identity and how its shaped me.
Yale Supplemental: 9/10 - I felt like I did pretty good on these. I took a few days to write them all, the short response ones were especially good. I tried to be witty here and there and I think it worked.
Georgetown Essays: 8/10 - I gave myself plenty of time to write these and honestly thought they were pretty good. I would say these are the best bunch and they really let me showcase my passion and aspirations.
All other essays: 6/10 - They're all a blur at this point. Not the worst but definitely room for improvement since I kind of powered through them. Didn't get any outside feedback on any of my essays so I went in raw lol.

All in all a crazy year for me. I still can't believe it sometimes but I'm glad it's all over! For what it's worth, I think my application on paper isn't the most outstanding compared to others that are on college subreddits (coughcoughA2C) but what really made up for it was my interviews and rec letters. Regardless, so happy and thankful for this decision season and wouldn't change it for the world!

- AP World/AP Human Teacher: 10/10 - Known him since my freshman year, had him as a teacher for 9th/10th. He's like my adoptive grandpa and he knows a lot about my extracurriculars and my future aspirations. Mentioned how I was one of a kind and he hoped the letter could do me justice, he's the best.
- AP Gov/Macro Teacher: 9/10 - Known her since my freshman year (she's the Mock Trial coach) and had her as a teacher senior year. Really cool lady; she used to be in politics so she's very supportive of my political aspirations. She likes me a lot and mentioned my maturity and responsibility a lot in my letter.
- State Representative: 7/10 - Not as personal as the other ones since he doesn't know me as well, but still nice. He mentioned some of my more career-oriented aspects and he knows me fairly well; definitely more than the average state rep knows their constituent.
- County Commissioner: 10/10 - Got to know her really well during the two years I did Activity #1 plus I helped her write the letter. This one especially touched a lot on the specific community work I did and my passion for helping my community. Out of all my letters, I think this one was the most important.
- Yale: 6/10 - I got my likely letter phone call an hour before the interview so I wasn't sure what to expect. Went in and did my best but I feel like I wasn't as charismatic as I usually was. My interviewer also just didn't seem to react positively to anything I said so that was a bit of a bummer.
- Harvard: 10/10 - I feel like this interview carried my Harvard app. The interviewer was a really nice guy, funny and honest about his time there. He showed real genuine interest in me and my background, I ended up talking to him a lot about my less common ethnic background (Chinese and Moroccan) and I feel like I was able to articulate really well how my upbringing and perspective have been shaped by my background.
